15 interested candidates already submitted application for DCEship position in Talensi

Talensi District of the Upper East Region is one of the Constituencies that received its share of the defeat in the 2020 December elections. Some Constituents are still wondering why a huge number of interested party applicants have suddenly shown interest in the contest of DECship position in the area.

Apexnewsgh.com has gathered that 15 interested applicants have submitted their application so far, hoping to be nominated by the President.

According to some members of the constituency who spoke to Apexnewsgh.com, they were thinking that the FACT-FINDING COMMITTEE will come out first with their finding to enable members of the party in the constituency and country at large understand the reason why they lost and why the people of Talensi rejected NPP during the last election even though margin in the  recent election received some level improvement unlike the 2016 election.

Some of them were of the belief, that they need to critically take some time and choose a better person who understands party structures and can easily be carried along with party ideology to the ordinary people no matter the person’s qualification. Names like Thomas Duanab, the 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate is among the list submitted so far.
