The EU’s congratulations come on the heels of Dr. Boamah’s recent nomination and official swearing-in by President John Dramani Mahama.

The EU has reaffirmed its commitment to Ghana, assuring Dr. Boamah of its continued role as a trusted and reliable security partner. This partnership has been years in the making, with the EU working closely with Ghana to enhance its military capabilities and promote regional stability.

One key aspect of this partnership is the EU’s delivery of critical military equipment tailored to Ghana’s specific security needs. This cooperation has significantly boosted the operational capacity of the Ghana Armed Forces, enabling them to respond more effectively to emerging security challenges.

Dr. Boamah is expected to meet with the EU delegation to discuss an upcoming delivery of military equipment, scheduled for the end of February. This delivery is part of a €50 million package aimed at strengthening Ghana’s defence capabilities.

As Ghana and the EU continue to work together, their shared strategic interests are expected to further strengthen their security alliance. This cooperation will not only benefit Ghana but also contribute to the stability of the wider West African region. Apexnewsgh reports
