I’m surprised we still think this is worth defending—Tangoba Abayage

Recently I wrote to my bank to scoop my last bit of investment (9,000 cedis) to solve some crisis.
I was initially informed it will take four months to get my money. Later they called to tell me they weren’t even sure when I could get it.
This country had been brought down on its knees due to a lot of factors including foreign currency crisis; we all know this.
Our banks were starving of the needed foreign currencies, our cedi was under pressure; I needed over 6,000 cedis (400 euros) a month to cater for my son in school out there.
And our general campaign was taking a huge hit!
Whilst we were out there chasing the two by four money changers for causing this financial mess in the country, house helps were stealing millions of dollars, euros etc from some of us the gatekeepers.
I’m surprised we still think this is worth defending.
I’m not questioning the source; I’m not questioning the legality of the acquisition: not my duty. But I know that this is morally wrong to have such huge sums in my home as a leader when my country struggles to solve its foreign currency deficit ( shame on all public servants who are doing this and bleeding the country to death) and I’m disgusted. Maybe that’s the reason I’m broke (too much piety)
Don’t ask me my loyalty. My loyalty to NPP is sanctimonious and a strong desire for Bawumia to become my next President is a reason why I feel sick at this development. 🥲🥲🥲🥲
