He held his maiden strategic meeting with the agency’s management, just a week after his appointment by President John Dramani Mahama.
Prof. Kpessa-Whyte took to his X page to express his enthusiasm, stating, “I had three important strategic meetings on my first day @sigaghana yesterday. I held Executive Committee, Management Committee, and General Staff Meetings. Fantastic team! I’m looking forward to learning more, sharing ideas, and contributing to making Ghana better.”
The Professor’s mission is clear: to provide utmost service to the nation. He thanked President Mahama for the opportunity, saying, “The mission is simple: utmost service to the nation. I’m very grateful, Mr. President. I will give it my very best.”
As the head of SIGA, Prof. Kpessa-Whyte will oversee the agency’s mandate to promote efficient and profitable operations of state-owned enterprises, joint venture companies, and other state entities.
With his extensive experience in governance, public policy analysis, and social democracy, Prof. Kpessa-Whyte is well-equipped to drive SIGA’s objectives and contribute to Ghana’s development.
