Speaking during an NPP health walk in Akim Swedru, Eastern Region, the lawmaker expressed optimism that Dr. Bawumia would break the eight-year jinx for the NPP and continue the achievements of the Nana Addo-led administration.
Mr. Nyarko stated categorically that Dr. Bawumia would win the elections with a majority of legitimate votes cast, emphasizing that the victory is “signed and sealed.”
He ruled out the possibility of a runoff in the general elections, asserting that the NPP and Dr. Bawumia would emerge victorious in a single stroke.
The MP urged the party to work hard to ensure a clear and unopposed victory, adding that Dr. Bawumia would secure majority seats in Parliament. He expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia would become the President of Ghana after the elections, breaking the eight-year cycle.
Mr. Nyarko’s prediction reflects the NPP’s confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy and their determination to retain power in the 2024 elections.
