The Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Upper East Region Peter Ayinbisa has cautioned the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from attempting to take credit from the yet-to-launch Dialysis center initiative at the Regional hospital. He said:“Another issue raised by the NDC which is germane but poorly premised is the lack of a dialysis center at the regional hospital. The absence of a dialysis center means that patients with kidney-related conditions must travel to other regions to access dialysis services, which can be costly and time-consuming. “While we support the call for such a critical facility, the known convention around the country shows that government alone may not suffice in providing us this facility. We, therefore, support the calls for benevolent sons and daughters of the upper east and beyond to lend their unflinching support to this worthy course. “In addition, the government has also stated that it is working on measures to prevent kidney-related conditions and promote healthy lifestyles. This includes initiatives to increase awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups, proper nutrition, and physical activity. However, he stressed that the initiative was started by a doctor at the Regional Hospital “I want to put it on record that, is not the NDC who is initiating the dialysis center project” Dr. Emmanuel Nsobila Akatibo, a Physician Specialist with the Upper East Regional hospital initiated a serious campaign to get a dialysis center in the region. UER: The best way to describe Nana Addo- Bawumia is narrow-minded and ineptitude– Abraham Lambon
The illustrious Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abraham Azumah Lambon has said, the best way to describe Nana Addo- Bawumia is narrow-minded and ineptitude because they don’t understand what they are doing. Apexnewsgh.com report According to Mr. Lambon, “If they understood what they are doing, Ghana will not be where it is today”.Meanwhile, making reference to the current predicament has affected innocent investors in the name of the haircut policy. “As a Ghanaian or a student, when you work and earn money, what you want to do is to invest or save your money. So that at the end of the year, the interest in the investment, you would use it for something. We have reached a point in our country where banks are no longer a safe place for saving our money when it comes to Nana Addo- Bawumia government. People who invested their money and earned monthly Ghc 5,000.00 as a return on their investment went to the bank at the end of the month and were told they are only to get Ghc 500.00 because the haircut policy has affected their investment. And yet, the President told us there wasn’t any haircut”. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has already assured that there will be “no haircuts” on investments contrary to speculations.“I also want to assure all Ghanaians that no individual or institutional investor, including pension funds, in Government treasury bills or instruments will lose their money, as a result of our ongoing IMF negotiations”. President Akufo-Addo assured “There will be no “haircuts”, so I urge all of you to ignore the false rumors, just as, in the banking sector clean-up, Government ensured that the 4.6 million depositors affected by the exercise did not lose their deposits”, President Akufo-Addo said in his Sunday night’s (October 30, 2022) address to the nation. However, addressing TEIN members at the Bolgatanga NTC on Saturday, Mr. Lambon assured them there is hope for Ghana. “The disgruntled youth let’s pray that the man of vision His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the commissioner general by 2024 will be the President. He is going to be a President for you and he is going to be a President for me. Because he is the one who understood the system of Ghana and governance”. He assured The programme which was organized by the Regional Youth Wing of the party led by Abraham Azumah Lambon, the regional youth organizer also saw the presence of well notable personalities like Isaac Ayemvoa the Bolga Central Secretary, the incumbent Regional deputy women’s Organizer Grace Nkaw, former TEIN presidents, TEIN Executives and other notable party members present at the induction ceremony. Akufo-Addo Under Fire As NPP Chairmen Accuse Him Of Neglect; Say Their Wives Are Leaving Them Due To Hardships
Some stalwarts of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) have accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of neglect The former constituency chairmen say after spending their resources on bringing the party to power, they have been left to their fate They add that their situation has been worsened by the current economic hardships, with some of their wives leaving them A group of stalwarts from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) have lamented the current economic hardships in the country. According to the former constituency chairpersons from across the country, their woes have been further deepened by the neglect from President Nana Akufo-Addo. The group says they have been left to their fate despite selling their properties and spending huge resources on the campaign to win the 2016 and 2020 general elections. At a press conference, a former Chairman for the Sampa Constituency, Seidu Adams, accused the president of not doing enough to reward them after their various sacrifices in the heat of the campaign seasons. Adams, who spoke on behalf of the group of former constituency chairmen, said some of them have lost their wives because they cannot make ends meet. The group says most of them spent their savings for the 2016 and 2020 elections to campaign for the NPP. To their surprise, they say they haven’t been given the recognition they were assured of after the party won power. The aggrieved NPP chairmen say if nothing is done about their predicament, they will be forced to sabotage the party’s efforts to break the eight. Adams added that they will go to all lengths to ensure the party loses in the 2024 election since they have been rendered useless in their constituencies and families. Akufo-Addo Declares Threats To Vote Out NPP Because He Has Not Delivered Does Not Frighten Him The president told a Kumasi-based radio station that should people decide to vote out the NPP because of concerns about poor road infrastructure, it is entirely their decision. “The fundamentals are weak and Dr. Bawumia is been exposed”– Alhassan Mbalba
The Chairman of the United Kingdom/Ireland Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhassan Mbalba has mocked Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia following the current state of the nation’s economy. Apexnewsgh.com report According to the UK Ireland Chapter Chairman, the fundamentals are weak and Dr. Bawumia is been exposed openly. Alhaji Mbalba gave the punch in his recent engagement on Apexnews Ghana’s flagship development programme dubbed “SPEAKOUT UPPER EAST REGION” with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Meanwhile, giving his view on the current hardship bedeviling citizens across the country, Alhaji Mbalba questioned what Dr. Bawumia is offering the country with his huge title as an economic guru. He said, constitutionally, Dr. Bawumia, is the head of the government economic management team and not just that, “they said he is a celebrated economist and we are this mess”. Alhaji Mbalba described Dr. Bawumia as a celebrated economist who has quickly abandoned his responsibility as the head of the government economic management team and now found refuge in I.T because he has woefully failed in the area of economics “A celebrated economist who got appointed as Vice President because of his economist credentials is now going about talking about digitalization, who told him we don’t have I.T experts in Ghana? We have a National Communication Authority, we have the Minister for Communication, and there are a lot of government agencies that are best qualified to talk about I.T in Ghana. But, because he has failed woefully in the area of economics, he is seeking refuge in the area he has no expertise. No wonder, the economy of Ghana is on his kneels” He stressed Source: Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com
