Sammy Gyamfi questioned Vice President silence over economic hardship

Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, has said he’s surprised that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, who was made the chairman of the economic management team of the Akufo-Addo government is nowhere to be found despite the increasing hardship bedeviling the country. The current country’s inflation is flying around 37 percent while the cedi is selling at more than GHS12 against the US dollar.Meanwhile, the prices of petroleum products just went up at the pumps in what has been a streak since the beginning of the year. Petrol is now selling at ₵13.10 per litre while diesel is selling at ₵15.99.Kerosene is also selling at ₵13.19. The recent hikes took effect on Sunday, 16 October 2022.However, using his Twitter account to express his opinion on the current situation, Mr. Gyamfi imagined why the Vice President has not uttered any word as the country’s Chairman of the Economic Management Committee. “A gallon of diesel is selling at GHS72 while the dollar is selling at GHS12.5. The cost of living keeps soaring but the braggadocios talkative and chairman of the EMT @MBawumia Dr. Bawumia, who was once projected as the answer to all our economic woes, has gone AWOL.” Source: Apexnewsgh.com/ Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email: Apexnewsgh@gmail.com

The holy bible NPP is having is FSHS–Anaribazanga Ibrahim mocked NPP

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Communication Team Ibrahim Anaribazanga has mocked the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) by describing their FSHS policy as their holy bible. Speaking on Apexnews Ghana’s flagship programme dubbed: “SPEAKOUT UPPER EAST” on Monday, October 10, 2022, the Bolga East Communication Officer of the opposition NDC Anaribazanga Ibrahim mocked the NPP. According to him, “the only bible now for the NPP is Free Senior High. If you want to sheet Free Senior High, if you want to urinate Free Senior High. If you asked them, why are doctors not in the hospital? They say Free Senior High School. You asked them why is the cedi depreciating against the dollar, they say Free Senior High School. All their answers is pointing to Free Senior High School. And the Free Senior High School they are talking about, this is not what we call Free Senior High School, the kids are suffering in this country and for them to feed is a problem, Is that Free Senior High School? He asked The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, 12th September, 2017, launched the Free Senior High School policy, describing the programme as the means to creating a society of opportunities and empowerment for every citizen. At a ceremony at the West Africa Senior High School, President Akufo-Addo noted that he made the Free SHS pledge “because I know that knowledge and talent are not for the rich and privileged alone, and that free education widens the gates of opportunities to every child, especially those whose talents are arrested because of poverty.” President Akufo-Addo noted that the countries that have made rapid progress around the world put education at the heart of their development, referencing the transition to publicly funded high school education by the United States in the mid-nineteenth century. “It must have been a daunting prospect at the time – paying for the education of so many children, for such an extended period of time out of limited public resources, transferring a potential workforce away from immediate productivity for an investment like schooling. But the experiment paid off,” President said Source: Apexnewsgh.com|Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336063 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com

JUST IN: NDC Awarded Chuchuluga –Sandema road without any funding source—Daniel Kwame Gariba

The Builsa South District Chief Executive (DCE), Daniel Kwame Gariba, has revealed that the road awarded by John Dramani Mahama from Chuchuluga to Wuesi, Weaga- Fumbisi, and Chuchuluga- Sandema was awarded without any funding source. Apexnewsgh.com report Mr. Gariba said, during the heat of the campaign in 2016, “We saw some busy works but shortly after the election everything went quiet. “You remember in 2016 in the heat of the election somewhere in September, then President John Mahama cut sod for the road from Chuchuluga to Wuesi. We saw some busy work but shortly after the election everything went quiet”. He narrates He further explained: “We didn’t see any further action. I remember myself the then Bulsa North DCE Mr. David Afoko we made frantic efforts and went to the road Minister a number of times, went to the Regional Highway Engineer talking about it. And we then realized, that road was awarded alright but, it was a certain portion of the road that was awarded and even that award was not for them to asphalt it but is for graveling, graveling the road from Chuchuluga up to Wesi”. He said, NDC awarded the road, hoping it will give them some votes. “But we realized that it was a particular portion from Chuchuluga to Sandema. Before that, they jumped from Weaga to Fumbisi, and all that was for graveling and not even for bitumen. The saddest part of it was that the project did not have a funding source, and documentation on that road project was not completed. But you know, when you want to have early ejaculation…… they rushed things, awarded the road, hoping that will give them some votes to win the 2016 elections and that didn’t work out and reality has done on all of us after the 2016 general elections when power change hands we then began to see the truth on the ground. This project did not have a funding source. So, we made a follow up to the road Minister, they also took their time to get a funding source and it was later repackaged from graveling to bitumen” Mr. Gariba told Apexnewsgh.com Source: Apexnewsgh.com|Builsa South|Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com

“The action to remove the incompetent Nana Addo- Bawumia government is now”– Abraham Lambon

The Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abraham Azumah Lambon has tasked fresh students of Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College to initiate action that will contribute to the removal of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections. “For the action to remove the incompetent Nana Addo- Bawumia government is not in 2024, is now. And you must take good initiatives now, so that in 2024 our victory will be assured hundred percent”. He said. The Regional Youth Organizer made the appeal when addressing the newly inducted students of the BMTC TEIN members on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Engaging the members of the intellectual wing of the party, he said: “It is our responsibility that, when we leave here, as role models in our communities we need to emphasize the importance of NDC to our people in the communities. I often tell students, that, when am advising you or when we are talking about 2024 that we need to win power, we are not talking about myself, we are not talking about Honorable Isaac Adongo, but we are talking about you, Honorable Isaac Adongo is already an MP, whether NDC wins power or not, he has achieved something in life. Honorable Bawa is an MP, whether NDC wins power or not, he has achieved something in his life”. “We are in a country, what matters is who you know and your network, because, we have a Senior Minister telling us that the public sector is a hundred percent full and there is a need to lay off workers and yet he went aside and created a position for his son as Deputy MD, went to National Communication Authority (NCA) created position for his second son Deputy MD, went and created Agypa that his son was supposed to be the Chief Executive Officer for fifteen years without change, and even if there is a change in government, what does this tell you? It tells you that, they don’t care about you, they don’t care about myself, they don’t care about the suffering of ordinary Ghanaians, but they only care about their family members”. They are deceivers, they are evils, they are destroyers and we will not allow them, we will not give them chance”. Low involvement of women in politics hampering women’s development –Grace Nkaw

The Upper East Regional Deputy Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Madam Grace Nkaw has admonished fresh students of Bolgatanga Midwifery Training Collage (BNTC) Tertiary Education Institutions Network(TEIN) According to the Deputy Women’s organizer, “When it comes to a leadership position, decision-making in the country, we are very few, and that hampers the development of women and children generally in Ghana. We are vulnerable”. He stressed She said: “Issues about women and girls can not be highlighted by men, it must be highlighted by the women because they know more and there is a saying that, he who wears shoes knows where is paining him”. “So, when we are there as women in leadership, we will be able to identify those issues that affect women and see how together we could improve the lives of women. And these girls are young and we need to bring them up in that direction”. She emphasized “Of course, they are young, and sometimes they are intimidated. We need to encourage them, we need to motivate them because i know some of them are very good and they can do more even the boys but they haven’t been given the opportunity and of course, they cannot get the opportunity at a silver platter. “So, I want to encourage them to come out and do the competition with their colleague boys and I know a lot of them can make it and they must not disappoint us as young ladies”. She believes a good number of the students will do well if given the opportunity in the near future as Parliamentarians and appointees. They will start taking leadership roles in the schools, in the lecture hall, and even in TEIN and other roles and as they keep practicing they will grow with it and you would be surprised that you will have a good number of them in Parliament, a good number of them as appointee and Ghana will be better. Women are less corrupt and they cannot be corrupted and I didn’t mean 100% but the majority of women cannot be corrupted. She conclude Source: Apexnewsgh.com|Bolgatanga|Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com
