The former President has told blatant lies– Richard Ahiagbah

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has responded to former President John Dramani Mahama for his pronouncement that the government has not given him all his privileges as an ex-President. Richard Ahiagbah, the Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), disagrees with Former President Mahama he says, President Akufo-Addo government has been providing him with his privileges. Addressing the media at a press conference in Accra, Mr. Ahiagbah said: “The former President has told blatant lies. We have assembled relevant documents that prove that the former President lied and that, contrary to his claims, he has been indeed been enjoying privileges due him.” “We did not want to share these private documents with the public, but they are already out there, so we will share them.” Former President John Mahama has said he does not receive any financial benefits beyond what he is due. “I receive only my monthly pension, like President Kufuor or President Rawlings was receiving until he died. That is all I get,” he said. “I pay the electricity bill for my house, for my office. I pay the water bill for my house and my office. I live in my own accommodation so the state does not pay me anything for accommodation,” he said in an interview on TV3.He also tabled fuel, medical bills, domestic staff, and flight tickets among the list of tabs he foots himself. John Mahama added that the only lump sum received was “GH¢230,000 as salary arrears in 2013.” “Normally when you leave, they approve what should be done for you, but it is not being done for me,” he added. This statement comes on the back of comments by a section of the public that he is living from the same monetary benefits he speaks against regarding Article 71 Office holders. One of which is the administrative New Patriotic Party’s Kwame Baffoe Abronye Bono Regions chairman, who argued that Mahama has received millions in ex-gratia payments. See how Upper East Region missed a golden opportunity in 2018 from Dr. Bawumia

A member of the NPP’s Upper East Regional communication team, Johnson Ayine has revealed that efforts made by the Vice President to institute some wonderful measures that would have inured to the benefit of regional development in 2018 were destroyed by the same people recommended to the Vice President as ‘Neutrals’ by their own party executives. Johnson Ayine made the revelation on Apexnewsgh.com’s “SPEAK OUT UPPER EAST” program on Wed, September 07, 2022. According to him, “In 2018, the Vice President of the land, sent a communique to the regional executive then and party elders. That should identify people who are not politicians but development advocates for him to meet them because he doesn’t want to be relying on what the party briefs him. So that from time, he will be taking information from them, some of our brothers were given the opportunity. He said, even the then Regional Minister Rockson Bukari was not allowed to be part of the meeting, because the meeting demanded that the Regional Minister shouldn’t be part, “it was only the Vice President and they themselves and the meeting ended around 1 am midnight. Dr. Ayars as at that period was his aide, he wasn’t in charge of NABCO”. Do you know what happens? The following week some of them were on the radio lambasting the government and our regional executives were the people who selected those participants before you realized the information got back and that was how they spoiled that opportunity. So, if those participants had not done those politics with that arrangement by the Vice President, it would have helped. Today, who told you that the other region’s own was not successful? So, those regions own are successful and he is getting information from neutrals and their regions are doing better than us and we say the party has neglected Upper East not knowing we have done that to ourselves. You can blame those who had the opportunity to meet him. We are engaged in unnecessary competition and jealousy is seriously affecting human growth and development in the region. The NPP’s least GDP growth in the last years is better than NDC–Peter Ayinbisa

The Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Peter Ayinbisa has claimed, that the NPP’s least GDP growth in the last 5 years has performed better than that of the NDC. Apexnewsgh.com reportThe Regional Communication Director made the claim on Apexnewsgh.com flagship program dubbed “SPEAK OUT UPPER EAST” on Wednesday, September 06, 2022Mr. Ayinbisa said, when the NPP came to power in 2016, they inherited a certain economy and later moved from there to a certain level before COVID came. “In 2016, we have to look at the various indicators that show an economy is healthy and doing well. Am talking about the GDP growth rate, am talking about the inflation, am talking about the interest rate, and am talking about employment”.He said: “If you look at GDP, you would ask yourself is what did the NPP came to meet in 2017. What was the GDP growth rate in 2016? What has the NDC left for us in 2016? According to him, “It is based on the robustness and healthiness of the economy that everything can triumph from there.Explaining the economy the NPP inherited from the opposition NDC, the Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing party pointed out: “In 2016 when we came the NDC had a GDP rate of 4.6 percent. So, in 2017 we moved the GDP rate from there to a higher percentage, in 2018 we move it to over 8 percent and in 2019 we came back to 6.5 percent and in 2020 it came down. And am saying this to show that even our least GDP growth between the last 4 to 5 is better than that of the NDC”. He stressedHowever, he strongly believes the Bawumia-Akufo-Addo administration wants to maintain a strong economy that will reflect in the living standard of ordinary Ghanaians. “We want to maintain a very strong economy, that is why when they left it at 4.6 percent, we increased it in 2017 to 8.1 percent, in 2018 it came down to 6.2 percent, in 2019 it went up again to 6.5 percent. He said, these are the indicators to show that a certain economy is doing well and has the capacity to contain the growth of the country, and for that matter to ensure that the people living in that economy are going about their work, and their cost of living is maintained and they are able to purchase basic things in the economy”. The level of corruption witnessed under this government is unprecedented –Solomon TTB

The Talensi Constituency Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress and a member of the NDC communication team Solomon TTB has described the level of corruption witnessed so far in the country and the recent Auditor’s General report as unprecedented in the history of Ghana. Apexnewsgh.com report The Constituency Secretary made the pronouncement on Apexnewsgh.com flagship program dubbed “SPEAK OUT UPPER EAST” on Tuesday, September 05, 2022 According to him, Corruption is aggressively growing in the country than development and has eaten Ghanaians, which is what citizens witnessing today clearly and simply mean. “That is unprecedented that we have never seen in the history of this country looking at the level of the corruption, looking at the level of financial malfeasance, looking the level of infractions in the Auditor’s General Report. It clearly means that things are really tough and the NPP since time immemorial has not put in any serious commitment to the fight against corruption and they also have a track record of allowing corrupt officials to go unpunished and history will always put us right. He stressed He further stressed that the NPP has not shown any serious commitment to fighting corruption. “You recall some couple of years ago when President Kufour was in government and decided to throw his hands up and say corruption as old as Adam, so looking at those called Dankwa, Bosia or whatever tradition, the NPP government has never shown any serious commitment in the fight against corruption and that is why we are now witnessing some of these things in this country”.He stated “In the case of Nana Akufo-Addo, the case is absolutely worse, it has never been seen in the history of Ghana. He is seriously clearing all corrupt officials, he has assumed the post of clearing agent at the Ghana port of corruption”. Responding to the Auditor’s General report, Mr. Solomon said: “We all saw Domelovu as someone who was seriously fighting corruption, but the President did not want anyone who could expose him and his government and for that matter, Domelovu will have to take an early bath in the Auditor’s General Department. However, he believes the government has recruited a lot of people as ghost workers just to loot the state. He sighted an example with the people captured by the Auditor’s General as ghost workers at the Ministry of Finance. It is because people are doing gargantuan sole-sourcing, it is because people are making payments of money to themselves, apart from that, putting ghost names in departments and various ministries. According to him, One Habibu who is working at the Finance Ministry as a ghost name took over Ghc 300,000 and the other over Ghc 500,000 for 24 months. He was the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale North. This is captured in the Auditor’s General report which is not my saying. They have put people there and they are looting the state for no work done. He concluded Source: Apexnewsgh.com For publication please kindly contact 0256336062 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com

How can Owusu Bempah occupy two positions in two different party?– NPP man seek for answers

Hopeson Adorye, former New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for Kpone Katamanso, has raised concerns following the appointment of Ernest Owusu Bempah as a deputy Communication Director for the party. Meanwhile, In an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Accra-based Okay FM on Thursday, September 1, he contended that Ernest Owusu Bempah was still a member of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings’ National Democratic Party (NDP). According to him, Owusu Bempah was not just an ordinary member of NDP but holds the position of the National Communications director. “Nobody hates Owusu Bempah. We all worked till this time but the truth is one. As we speak, if you ask of the National Communications Director of NDP, it is Owusu Bempah. So why do we want to distort the conversation?” He asked. Mr. Adorye continued that Owusu Bempah has not officially indicated that he is a member of the NPP suggesting that he should not have been given his appointment. “How can one person Owusu Bempah hold two positions in two different parties? We worked with people like Kabila in opposition by forming groups like AFAG, Let My Vote Count and others. Amongst all the people from the smaller political parties that we worked with, it is only one person who formally declared [to have joined NPP]. We are raising this issue for the sake of tomorrow. “Since when did he [Owusu Bempah] say he has resigned as Communications director of NDP? Since when did he also declare formally that he has joined NPP? It was only one person out of the names I mentioned who formally declared to have joined NPP…that is Abu Ramadan. “He was youth organizer for PNC but at a point he stood a platform to declare his switch to the NPP. Since then, we see Abu Ramadan as a member of the New Patriotic Party. Owusu Bempah was NDP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Asante Akyem North in the 2016 elections,” Hopeson Adorye emphasized. “Everybody has where he came from but make it known for it to be captured on records that you joined NPP. The proper thing must be done. It could have been an oversight on the part of the Party. We are drawing their attention,” he added. The NPP in a letter dated August 26, 2022, appointed 19 deputy national executives and directors. Ernest Owusu Bempah’s name featured among the 6 deputy communication directors. Apexnewsgh.com

Talensi: NDC Demands an Immediate Unqualified Apology from Kwabena Ampofo Appiah for…

The Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region has demanded an immediate unqualified apology from the Managing Director of State Housing Company Limited Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah for what they described as a “consummate falsehood peddled to raise the image of the drowning NPP’s government led by President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia”. Apexnewsgh.com report The statement authored by the NDC Talensi Constituency Secretary Zinekena Solomon T.T.B says: “The attention of the NDC in Talensi has been drawn to a Facebook post by the MD of the State Housing Company Ltd which suggests that there are houses available for Ghanaians at the Rock Estates located at Pusonamoogo in the Talensi District of Upper East Region of Ghana”. However, following the false and misleading information posted by the MD of the State Housing Company Ltd which does not exist anywhere in the Talensi land, the NDC is demanding an immediate unqualified apology. Kindly read the full statement Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Immediate Release. [Party Office, Talensi Constituency]. TALENSI NDC DEMANDS AN IMMEDIATE UNQUALIFIED APOLOGY FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF STATE HOUSING COMPANY LTD, MR. KWABENA AMPOFO APPIAH . The attention of the NDC in Talensi has been drawn to a Facebook post by the MD of the State Housing Company Ltd which suggests that there are houses available for Ghanaians at the Rock Estates located at Pusonamoogo in the Talensi District of Upper East Region of Ghana. Ghanaians must be apprised here and now that the MD’s claim is a consummate falsehood peddled to raise the image of the drowning NPP’s government led by President Nana Addo and Alhaji Timothy Bawumia. To set the records straight forward without equivocation, the facts are as follow: On Friday, November 29, 2019, President Nana Addo cut sod for the construction of 120 housing units at Pusunamogo in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region. On Tuesday, 18th August, 2020, the Vice President Alhaji Bawumia in a town hall meeting at the Academy of Art and Sciences in Accra emphatically captured the 120 housing units project in page 40 as ongoing and that work was 20 per cent complete. At the time the Vice President made that claim using his 419 powerful delivery tracker, there was only a well-designed signpost erected on the site along the Bolga-Tamale Road. According to the Vice President in 2020, 50 housing units were supposed to be completed before the 2020 general elections. It is almost three years today and only two uncompleted housing units are found at the site. Work has stalled at the site for months now. The site is left bushy and muddy. The following questions are begging for immediate answers from the uninformed, clueless and armchair MD; How did the MD come to the conclusion that the housing units were ready for use and that people looking for homes in the Upper East Region should look no further but contact one Mabila via telephone on +233244271502 ? Does the MD and his team do routine monitoring and supervision of their projects? How many housing units are completed? Is portable drinking water provided at the site? Is the site connected to electricity? Have they created access roads? Is the MD and his appointor living in such homes? Are the completed houses in the Jupiter or the Earth we all live on? In fact, it appears the Vice President has succeeded in infecting most appointees of the NPP government with his chronic lies. The usual peddling of falsehoods by the rank and file of NPP seems to be a malignant cancerous tumour that is resistant to treatment. As much as Ghanaians and the NDC try to treat them by exposing their naked lies, the more they continue to lie. Probably, the MD was celebrating the two years lying anniversary of Bawumia on that same project. If not, he is caught flat-footed and pants down having thrown iron fillings into the eyes of the good people of Talensi and Ghana at large on the completion of the Project. What is the crime of the good people of Talensi to have warranted this naked deception from the appointee of President Nana Addo? This fraud exposes the gross ineptitude, corporate incompetence and lack of credibility of the MD. The posture of the MD simply means that he is either not on top of his job or is a deliberate attempt to deceive, mislead, misinform and mock Ghanaians under the excruciating economic conditions experienced by most ordinary Ghanaians especially the youth where payment of rents has been a challenge though on 26th October, 2020, Ghanaian youth were promised to have their rents paid by the NPP government in the second term. It, however, beats our imagination that an MD who draws monthly salaries with huge allowances from the public purse of the ordinary taxpayer would lower the bar of management and corporate leadership to such a bizarre extent. He is busily dancing in the gutters alone. We may be tempted to believe that he is only carrying a big head punishing his neck because there is no absolute reflection of his academic qualifications and leadership in the development of the company. The NDC would like to dare the MD to come out with contrary facts relative to the Rock Estates Housing project situated at Pusonamogo. We also want to challenge him (the MD) to publish the true pictures of the housing units completed, the outside and inside of the houses and an aerial photograph of the project. The NDC is keenly monitoring the falsehoods the MD has been peddling on various platforms seeking to take undue credit of the numerous projects initiated and funded by the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama led NDC government in the housing sector. Well! The performing masquerade that tries too hard to outclass his colleagues will end up by  exposing his anus. Critically examining the posture of the MD, one thing is certain and conspicuous that, the  Nana Addo government

Wilson Dabuo dares Communication Director to produce phones meant for….

A former member of the Upper East Regional Communication Team Wilson Dabuo has allegedly questioned the whereabouts of phones he claimed were given to the newly appointed Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Peter Ayinbisa two months ago for onward distribution to party Communicators. His post on Meta dated August 26, 2022, said: “From the grapevine, about two months ago, some number of phones were received in Accra by Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga for onward distribution to the Communicators of the Region. It is been long expected that the phones should have been given out by now but no one seems to have an idea of the phones’ whereabouts. Can Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga tell us all where these phones are and why the Communicators have not known about them all these days? Read full details below: Wilson Dabuo writes… 26/08/2022 Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga: The Problem of Bongo Constituency has now become the Problem of the Region’s Communication Team. An Avoidable Bad Omen. “You are the problem of Bongo” were the Presisdent’s disapproving response to Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, the embattled Regional Communications Director of the NPP Upper East Region. His greetings to the Present were repugnant and repulsive as the President could not pretend about his hide-and-seek games in the District. At the President’s recent working visit to the Region, it was manifestly clear that the President was not happy with happenings in the Region and disappointingly, his facial expressions could not have been moderated at the sight of those who were deemed as the troublemakers in NPP in the Region. One of such obviously was the perpetual self-seeking Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga. The President could not hide his bad feelings about Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga’s manoeuvres in the Bongo District and his extended criminality into the Region. As though the President’s disappointments on him were not enough he send some of the Bongo Constituency Executives under the leadership of the Constituency Chairman to meet with the Local Government Minister to discuss possibilities for the removal of the current Bongo DCE. They were to tell the Minister that until the DCE was removed there was no way they, the Bongo Constituency Executives and Communicators could win the Bongo seat. The Minister however was much more smarter than the team who met him and they made a fool of themselves after a demonstrated defection of their intent. Again, At a recent attempt to remove the DCE, sent an Executive Committee representation led by Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga himslef to Accra to meet with the Vice President on account of plans to get rid of the Bongo DCE. They have since returned without meeting with the Vice President after several days of negotiations to see him. They left shamelessly back to Bolgatanga Region. The question I dare ask at this point is why is Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga so helpless and restless in the current DCE’s position? What is the DCE doing right that they don’t like? The above notwithstanding, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga has now become a new-normal of a problem in the Region’s Communication Team of the NPP. I have always maintained that as much as politics is business, when your work and sacrifices have gone unrecognized, were you an unalligned party fellow, would have been much ideal. Some time ago, I wrote about the deteriorating plights of the NPP Upper East Region’s Communication team and was faced with denial and name-calling. I am happy however that things have relatively changed in spite of those cooked up denials as party’s leadership saw the need to intervene. The problem however seems to be resurfacing with Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga being put in charge. The starlings have soon began. From the grapevine, about two months ago, some number of phones were received in Accra by Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga for onward distribution to the Communicators of the Region. It is been long expected that the phones should have been given out by now but no one seems to have an idea of the phones’ whereabouts. Can Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga tell us all where these phones are and why the Communicators have not known about them all these days? Lastly, it is strite knowledge that no striking union has ever been denied their monthly payments in this country no matter the longevity of the strike. In the case of the NPP Upper East Region’s Communication team, since they went on their sit-down strike to register their displeasure in the appointment of Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga as Director of Communications, they have been denied without a reason, their monthly stipends. Can Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga tell us when the Communicators are to have their share of the ghc30,000 which is in his personal accounts? The money is their due and cannot be idled in your account while the Communicators are languishing in these hard times. Northerners deserve to be treated with respect-Frank Fuseini Adongo

The former Upper East Deputy Regional Minister Hon. Frank Fuseini Adongo has added his voice following the ethnocentric pronouncement made by Mr. Hopeson Adorye against Northerners. Apexnewsgh.com report According to the former Deputy Regional Minister “Northerners deserve and should be treated with respect.” We deserve gold for our many years of service to the NPP.” Hon Fuseini in an interview with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com on Friday, August 19, 2022, asked his people from the North to disregard such pronouncement from a party member who should know better, especially when the NPP is already fighting to overcome the NDC manufactured negative perception that the NPP belongs to the people of Akan. “I want my people to understand, that what Hopeson stated was an individual mistake, not an NPP mistake. What he said cannot represent the views of the NPP’s nearly 5 million members, which is why he has accepted responsibility for his actions by apologizing,” he said. However, describing Mr, Adorye’s pronouncement as a ‘reckless comment’, the former Zebilla legislator urged all sons and daughters of the five northern regions to forgive Mr. Adorye for his unfortunate loosed talk which does not represent the NPP’s position as a political party. Dr. Adongo expressed worried that the opposition NDC, will use Hopeson Adorye’s remark to knock the heads of NPP against the people of the north in the 2024 general election. Mr. Adorye is reported to have said during the walk, “The NPP has a tradition. Our tradition is Busia, Danquah and Dombo. Danquah represents Eastern Region and the bottom (south), Danquah represents Ashanti Region and the Bono areas, while Dombo represents Northern Region. The Dombos are always in the mix and fit as running mates to either a Danquah candidate or a Busia candidate. That tradition must continue.” However, the Hon. Fuseini said: “President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, had demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt that he had the people of northern Ghana at heart and that “he has been in excellent connection with the northerners.” Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications.
