Northerners deserve to be treated with respect-Frank Fuseini Adongo

The former Upper East Deputy Regional Minister Hon. Frank Fuseini Adongo has added his voice following the ethnocentric pronouncement made by Mr. Hopeson Adorye against Northerners. Apexnewsgh.com report According to the former Deputy Regional Minister “Northerners deserve and should be treated with respect.” We deserve gold for our many years of service to the NPP.” Hon Fuseini in an interview with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com on Friday, August 19, 2022, asked his people from the North to disregard such pronouncement from a party member who should know better, especially when the NPP is already fighting to overcome the NDC manufactured negative perception that the NPP belongs to the people of Akan. “I want my people to understand, that what Hopeson stated was an individual mistake, not an NPP mistake. What he said cannot represent the views of the NPP’s nearly 5 million members, which is why he has accepted responsibility for his actions by apologizing,” he said. However, describing Mr, Adorye’s pronouncement as a ‘reckless comment’, the former Zebilla legislator urged all sons and daughters of the five northern regions to forgive Mr. Adorye for his unfortunate loosed talk which does not represent the NPP’s position as a political party. Dr. Adongo expressed worried that the opposition NDC, will use Hopeson Adorye’s remark to knock the heads of NPP against the people of the north in the 2024 general election. Mr. Adorye is reported to have said during the walk, “The NPP has a tradition. Our tradition is Busia, Danquah and Dombo. Danquah represents Eastern Region and the bottom (south), Danquah represents Ashanti Region and the Bono areas, while Dombo represents Northern Region. The Dombos are always in the mix and fit as running mates to either a Danquah candidate or a Busia candidate. That tradition must continue.” However, the Hon. Fuseini said: “President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, had demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt that he had the people of northern Ghana at heart and that “he has been in excellent connection with the northerners.” Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. We expect a query and condemnation from National leadership to Hopeson Adorye–NPP REG COMM DIR

Peter Ayinbisa, the Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said, he is expecting the party National Party’s leadership to come out openly to condemn the ethnocentric comment made by Hopeson Adorye against Northerners. According to Mr. Ayinbisa, he believes the delegates are those who will speak. He spoke with Ngaemegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com exclusively on Monday, August 15, 2022. “I expect the leadership of the party to condemn him and ask him to apologize to Northerners in general for that reckless comment that he made. I expect in the coming days to see the General Secretary, the National Chairman, and the rest of the executives issuing a query to him and demanding an unqualified apology from him regarding Northerners because in this case is not even about the NPP is about Northerners in general”. “Is not good for our party to be divided into those things, is not good for a senior party member like Hopeson to have to say what he said. But I believe that the delegates are those who will speak. When the time comes, they will decide who will lead this party. The delegates are very sophisticated these days, whoever they elect, at the end of the day as our flagbearer all of us are going to rally behind that person. It doesn’t lie in the mouth of Hopeson to think that we the Northerners are supposed to be running mates. In fact, I wanted to remain neutral but the fact that he insulted us the Northerners, I think what he has said in bad taste, he shouldn’t have made that comment, I condemned that comment”. “But, we are not shaking as a party we will look at what the instructions and directions will be moving forward”. “So, for me, as a Northerner am not happy he has re-relegated us to background thinking that we are supposed to be running mates. We think that we have what it takes to lead this country. NDC have had it, they had John Mahama and we too will have it”. Hopeson Adorye was captured making these pronouncements after a health walk organized by supporters of Alan John Kyerematen on Saturday. “Whenever a Danquah leads the party, the Busia side steps aside but there is a Dombo (for running mate), and whenever a Busia lead, the Danquah side steps aside but there is a Dombo (for running mate). As for the Dombos they are always there (for running mate). “If it went to Danquah, came to Busia, went back to Danquah, where should it go now, is it not Busia?” Adorye asked. VIDEO: NPP Breaking the 8 solgan means, breaking to steal–Limuna Mohammed Muniru

Former Upper East Regional Minister Limuna Mohammed Muniru has said, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) slogan of breaking the 8 simply means destroying or either breaking to steal. According to the former Minister, “Anybody who breaks into something is either destroying or you are breaking to go and steals. Which means they are telling us they want to steal again. Is just like saying you are going to break your wife’s heart and if you break your wife’s heart, what does that mean? So, Ghanaians open your eyes, breaking the 8 is not a popular vote but they want to do what they are used to doing”. “Let’s look at those who can deliver, let’s look at those who can bring peace and security to this country,” He said He believes Ghanaians have witnessed massive failures from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) which has already changed their choices of who will lead them from 2025. “A lot has been seen, we don’t need to tell them. All we can say is that they help us not to allow this person break. They know Ghanaians have taken a decision and they know Ghanaians will never vote for them as they did in 2020”.
