Blakk Rasta got Rev Dr. Kwadwo Bempah wrong—Pastor Barnabas Chimbur

A Bolgatanga-based Assemblies of God Pastor, Pastor Chimbur Barnabas has backed up Rev. Dr. Kwadwo Bempah after advising his congregants to be cautious of the poor people they help. Apexnewsgh.com report The statement made by the Man of God has generated some amount of criticism across the continent and one of those personalities who took the Rev. Bempah on was a Ghanaian artiste and radio personality Blakk Rasta. Rev Dr. Bempah, during one of his sermons, advised kind-hearted people to be cautious of the poor people they help. He explained that not every poor person deserves to receive help. Rev. Dr. Bempah said nobody knows the real reason some people are wallowing in poverty as some of them could be enduring the punishment of Satan. The clergyman stressed that they are simply suffering the consequences of bad decisions they made in the past. However, it appears his sermon did not go well for Blakk Rasta. According to Blakk Rasta, “when they say give it to God, It means give it to the church and the church is the pastor and so right now, there is a competition between the poor and the church, the poor and the pastor. The pastors are not even happy that we are giving to the poor”. He went further to say, “The church is now fighting the poor. They prefer having the poor coming to pay tithe and they will pray for them to be rich”. Meanwhile, responding to Black Rasta, a Bolgatanga-based Assemblies of God Pastor, Pastor Chimbur Barnabas said Blakk Rasta took Rev. Bempa’s sermon in the wrong context because in the video Rev. Dr. Bempah said some of the poor people are suffering as a result of Satan and other reasons, which means they are suffering as a result of the decision they made or the choice they made. “…he also went further to say, you need discernment in order to give to the poor. These are very clear statements which means that, is not every poor person you have mercy upon. Pastor Chimbur said. “I want to make it clear that there’s no Pastor who loves the poor like Rev. Dr. Bempah, he has helped the poor so much that no one can even tell and he is still helping the poor. So, making this statement doesn’t make him someone who hates the poor. He was just speaking the truth and the reality on the ground”. He stressed “Rev. Dr. Bempah is a very generous man who gives without holding back. So, it cannot be true of what Blakk Rasta was saying”. “As I speak to you, In Bolgatanga i know of some people who stand by the road or go around the station and beg. Then, in the evening you will see them sitting at a beer spot drinking beer. Do you help such people? I also know about one of my uncles who was very rich in the early 90s but now he is very poor because he used his money following women and drinking. Now the money has finished. So, such people do you consider them as those that really need help? The moment you helped them, they go back to their old action. So, you don’t need to help such people. He stressed “I like Blakk Rasta and I have been following him as his fan since 2006 but I think he has gotten this one wrong. Am also happy he is a man of the book, he knows the bible. He should have understood when Dr. Kwadwo Bempah said you need discernment. It is not every poor person you give, you may see the person as poor but you may not know that he has an agenda”. Some of them collect the money you give them and go juju places for ritual Purposes. So you will think you are helping someone who is poor but you are nurturing him for your destruction tomorrow. However that is not to rule out the fact that some poor people genuinely need help.. He maintained, that Rev. Bempah is not against giving to the poor but he said you need discernment to give to the poor. Pastor Chimbur further made reference to Mark 12: 17 where he stated that Jesus was clear by saying give Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God. And Jesus was also very compassionate to the poor by saying whoever gives to the poor lends to God. Pray For NDC Before They Kill Themselves – Presidential Staffer

By Kritiq (self media writer) A Presidential Staffer, Samuel Bryan Buabeng has called on Ghanaians to intercede with prayers for happenings in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). He says the brewing tension between the National Youth Organiser and the National Communications Officer of the party could cause serious unrest in the NDC to the extent that it may not even exist by 2024 to contest the general elections “Pray for the NDC. If care is not taken, they will kill themselves and destroy the party before 2024, he tweeted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.Genesis of the fightThe newly elected National Youth Organiser, George Opare Addo and Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are at loggerheads, pelting each other with scathing allegations. In the lead up to the NDC’s Women and Youth delegates’ conference, Sammy Gyamfi openly supported and campaigned for Brogya Genfi to unseat Opare Addo as the party’s National Youth Organiser. This seems to have created a friction between the two national executives, resulting in attacks and counter attacks from supporters from either followers.George Opare threw the first shot after he accused Sammy Gyamfi of having unexplained wealth with a plush mansion at Airport Hill residential area. “Mugabe, ask Sammy Gyamfi how he built a house at Airport Hills, what work does he do?”“As for this election, it was that Airport Hills small boy I contested not Brogya, I said today I will mention names… I contested Sammy Gyamfi and I won. “He is a small boy. There is nothing he can match me on, I have lived life well. He is a small boy.“Yes, Sammy Gyamfi has now become an obstacle and in my way and this my second term I will not joke! I will cut cut away anybody who stands in my way as an obstacle. It is only action that we will see. Action action action….” Opare Addo made these remarks in an interview with Mugabe Maase on Power FM last Monday, December 12, 2022. However, Sammy Gyamfi has, in a tweet, asked Pablo to stop the attack on his person because he committed no crime by supporting Brogya Genfi to unseat him. “@georgeoaddo I committed no crime in supporting @BrogyaGenfi over you in the just-ended NYO elections. If this is the route you want to take, then bring it on. At the right time, you will get a befitting response to all the lies and gibberish you have been spewing since yesterday”, he tweeted.
