According to Former President John Mahama, the Akufo-Addo government is destroying the future of the youth with excessive borrowing. Addressing branch and constituency executives the Lower Manya Krobo and Yilo Krobo constituencies of the Eastern Region, the former President said: “The NPP government is destroying the future of the youth with excessive borrowing”. “For those who took the loans, how many years are left for them to leave the surface of the earth to join God?” he asked. “The creditors will not give the future generation loans due to the failure of this government to settle its loans”. “If you are concerned about your future, don’t vote for the NPP government that has put us in this situation”, he noted. “Listen to your conscience. They have spoilt the future of Ghana. For the next ten years, it will be difficult to go outside for loans. They have done enough damage to the country, they should pack out,” Former President said. MTN considering the revise of data zone bundle as soon as possible

Concerned bettors reject 10% tax, warned government not to burden society with more tax
An emerging group known as Concerned Bettors of Ghana (CBOG) has disallowed government’s decision to place a 10 per cent tax on all wins by bettors. The group in a statement dated April 11, 2023, and signed by its convener Richard Aguda stated that: “We the above-mentioned association vehemently reject the introduction of a new tax on all betting, games and lottery wins.” The group said any further imposition of tax on the already tax-burdened society is a recipe for chaos.
