Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre sends congratulatory message to PC elect Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla and JDM
Mr. Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre, One of the seven candidates who contested the just-ended National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary primaries in the Zebilla Constituency has extended his congratulatory message to his contender Mr. Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla and the flagbearer elect former President John Dramani Mahama. Mr. Ndebah Ndebugre, in the just-ended parliamentary primaries, came second from the seven aspirants who battled for the seat, but was beaten slightly by Mr. Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla. However, in a congratulatory message issued by Mr. Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre, he said: “This is not a victory to an individual but a victory to the NDC fraternity”. According to him, “the beauty of democracy allows all and sundry to contest in any elections and that is why the gallant six candidates including myself who have shown interest to be voted for in this NDC primaries”. NDC Primaries: 7 freshly elected Parliamentary Candidates you must know in the Upper East Region
In the Upper East Region, Seven (7) fresh faces have emerged as parliamentary candidates elect for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in various constituencies. In Garu, Dr. Winsum Anaba, the former Medical Director for the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, who was sacked by the NPP shortly after they assumed office snatched the seat from the incumbent Albert Alaazuga Akuka with no mercy. In the Chiana/ Paga constituency, Mr. Alamzy Billa snatched the seat from the incumbent Mr. Thomas Addah Dalu. Navrongo also brought a new face in the person of Simon Aworigo Akibange, the man who returned from the United Kingdom as the NDC- UK Ireland Chapter secretary to claim a Parliamentary seat he believes belongs to him. He beat the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Navrongo Central Constituency Sampson Tangombu Chiragia and emerge victorious. On the part of Binduri, Lawyer. Issifu Mahmoud, the resigned police officer cum Lawyer floored the former Member of Parliament Dr. Robert Baba Kuganab-Lem with a slight margin. In the Zebilla Constituency, Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla came top among the seven aspiring candidates to emerge victorious. He has already contested twice and lost. Fortunately, his third attempt saw him through as the elected Parliamentary Candidate. Note, in the case of Zebilla, the incumbent MP Cletus Avoka said, he is not seeking re-election again.
