Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, has reaffirmed his support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the most productive candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2024 general elections. The lawyer stressed that Dr. Bawumia is blessed with qualities necessary to not only compete but to also defeat the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama. Sharing his view in an engagement on Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem programme on Wontumi TV on July 9, 2023, the outspoken lawyer Ampaw pointed out that, Dr. Bawumia’s track record and argued that John Mahama would be unable to surpass him in any aspect of his life achievements, including personal and professional accomplishments. “Bawumia means to squeeze, so when you vote for him, he will squeeze all of them, he will squeeze Mahama,” Ampaw stated. “For Bawumia, Mahama is really afraid of him. Mahama cannot beat him in any way – economics, communication, personality, intelligence in terms of movement. Now Mahama is almost 70 years old and he is weak. “When it comes to the choice of wives, Samira is a lady, do you understand? Also, when it comes to digitalizing the economy, he can’t. Jesus Hamper launched in Bolgatanga
The Organization was founded in the month of July 2023 by a group of personalities who appreciate touching people’s lives positively with Mr. John Walker Osmans as the Executive Director of the Organization. Speaking to Apexnewsgh.com, Mr. Walker explained that, this is their first major operation. “Basically, the objective is to reach out to the needy and our mode of operation is basically to present hampers to those in need”. He said Giving a little insight about their activity as ‘Jesus Hamper’ as an organization Mr. Walker said: If we identify that there is somebody or a family somewhere that needs provisions, we send provision hamper to them or when we identify you need academic hamper, then we prepare academic hamper, if is a health issue, we prepare health hampers depending on the kind of need the person is challenged with, that will determine the kind of hamper we present”. He explained He said, basically the exercise is to provide provisions, and foodstuff to people that are challenged financially and struggling to feed their kids. “Today, we have presented hampers that contained rice, oil, tomatoes, and mackerel and believe that this token will go a long way to supplement the already challenge they found themselves in. Sharing their observation, the Executive Director of Jesus Hamper revealed that during their visit, the group realized that in some cases even a decent place to sleep is a big challenge for these needy people.
