The campaign team of Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga, an aspiring Chairmanship candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region said, it has come there notice of a supposedly research being conducted via phone calls to delegates especially Constituency Executives concerning the upcoming Regional Executive Elections.
The team said: “The said research according to reports targets the Chairmanship position. Our information is that the callers carrying out the so-called research often call and insist that a delegate chooses his preference among the six candidates who have filed to contest the chairmanship position of the party at the Regional level”.
Aside from what they described as fictitious research, the team also said: They have seen on social media a supposed NIB report on the Regional Chairmanship position with the caption “BNI Report Reveals There Will Be Disaster in NPP Performance in 2024 If Any of The Three Chairmen Emerge As a Winner” (Sic)
Dr. Moses Atinga campaign team described the report as fake. According to them, they are focused on their good campaign messages to delegates and will not waste time on such imaginary poor write-ups by teams of aspirants whose campaigns are collapsing upon the arrival of the Humble Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga. It is however necessary and compelling to correct such falsehood as propaganda is not known in the arms of the NPP as a party.

IGNORE THE FICTITIOUS RESEARCH AND FAKE NIB REPORT
The campaign team of Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga, the Incoming Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has become aware of a supposedly research being conducted via phone calls to delegates especially Constituency Executives concerning the upcoming Regional Executive Elections.
The said research according to reports targets the Chairmanship position. Our information is that the callers carrying out the so-called research often call and insist that a delegate chooses his preference among the six candidates who have filed to contest the chairmanship position of the party at the Regional level.
Further, we have seen on social media a supposed NIB report on the Regional Chairmanship position with the caption “BNI Report Reveals There Will Be Disaster in NPP Performance in 2024 If Any of The Three Chairmen Emerge As a Winner” (Sic). We would ordinarily not waste time on such imaginary poor write-ups by teams of aspirants whose campaigns are collapsing upon the arrival of the Humble Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga. It is however necessary and compelling to correct such falsehood as propaganda is not known in the arms of the NPP as a party.
- The BNI officially changed its name to the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) somewhere in 2020 and has since then been using the NIB in their operations. Any smart person should know this and thus not embarrass him/herself with outdated
- The NIB does not publish their findings or reports on the media. It is thus strange that a so-called report predicting doom for the party in the region is published on social Perhaps the authors and promoters of such poorly written report do not appreciate the operations of the NIB and other investigative offices of our country. I will implore you to seek better education and do better next time.
- Anyone who wishes to make enquiries from the NIB concerning the upcoming elections can visit their offices at the Regional or district levels to abreast
We therefore urge all delegates especially our revered Constituency Executives to ignore such fictitious research and disregard the fake NIB report circulating on social media about the Regional Chairmanship and rather stay steadfast and resolute towards the re-organization of our dear party at the Regional level.
We have also picked signals of some aspirants who have acquired airtime on radio stations to attack the person of the Humble Doctor in the lead up to the elections. The campaign team of DR. MOSES KWABENA ATINGA will however continue to preach our message of Hope and leadership. We will not go into the gutters with any aspirant. We know that after the elections, the Chairman by the grace of God, Dr. Moses
Kwabena Atinga will need every party member on board the train for election 2024.
Notwithstanding our resolve not to attack the person of any aspirant, the team wishes to indicate that should the needless attacks continue, we will be compelled to respond adequately.
On Friday, 27th May, 2022 we will all converge in Bolgatanga to elect our new Regional
Executives. Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga is No. 6 on the ballot paper. He is seeking your mandate TO LEAD not to chair. Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga comes with the TRIPOD STRATEGY to recapture our lost seats and help the party break the 8.
Remember to vote Dr. Moses Kwabena Atinga and ask your colleague or friend to do same. The YOUTH must RISE. YES WE CAN. Let’s do it.
Once again, we urge all delegates and party members as well as the media to ignore any pretentious research or fake NIB reports concerning the Chairmanship position of our dear party.

Region have listened to us and have accepted our message of hope and leadership and thus will endorse the listening DR. MOSES KWABENA ATINGA on Friday as our new Regional Chairman. We trust the good Lord will guide us all towards the re-organization process and grant us victory.
