The outspoken Assin North Member of Parliament Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed that a contract sum of Ghc163 million which was given to the Northern Regional Chairman and his counterpart in the North East was sold to Aliu Seidu.
The MP who was captured angrily shouting on top of his voice whiles addressing Regional and Constituency Executives in Upper East on Sunday also hinted about some illegality, stressing that if the seller, buyer of the contract, and Road and Highways play with him all of them will be in trouble.
“Chairman Samba and North East Chairman, they had a contract from the road Ministry Ghc163million, they sold it to Aliu Seidu who is called Aliumaboma, Aliumaboma gave them some cheques Ghc 1.5, Ghc 1.5million, Ghc 1.5million, Ghc 1.5million, and all the Ghc 1.5million cheques bounced and what Aliumaboma did was that he also went back to Roads and Highways and changed the figures to cover the Ghc 6million he gave to these cheques. I don’t know how was able to value”. He explained
He further revealed, that the original contract was Ghc163million and Aliumaboma changed it to Ghc 169 million which means he got the contract free.
“If they play games with me, Road Ministry all of them will be in trouble”. He warned
Mr. Agyapong was in the Upper East Region to seek for some support from party members ahead of the party flag bearership election.
