Apexnewsgh Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes: Condolences to Families and President Mahama

Apexnewsgh stands united in mourning the loss of eight remarkable individuals who tragically perished in a helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, in the Ashanti region.

Among the departed are Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the esteemed Minister for Defence; Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Minister for Environment; and Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, the Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator.

The political landscape has also lost Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Vice Chairman of the NDC, and former NDC Parliamentary candidate Mr. Samuel Aboagye. Joining them were Squadron Leader Peter, Flying Officer Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo, each dedicated to serving Ghana with unwavering passion, commitment, and selflessness.

Their sudden departure has created an irreplaceable void in the nation’s fabric. We extend our deepest condolences to their families, friends, and colleagues as they navigate this profound loss.
