In a gracious speech, Krugu acknowledged the people’s clear verdict, congratulating his opponent, Hon. Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla, on his victory.¹
Dr. Krugu reflected on the challenging campaign, marked by disagreements and differences with his opponent.
However, he pledged to support Ndebilla in addressing the constituency’s pressing issues. Dr. Krugu also expressed gratitude to his team, family, and friends for their unwavering support throughout the campaign.
The campaign was complicated by recent events in Bawku, including a chieftaincy dispute that prompted Dr. Krugu to suspend his campaign activities temporarily.

In his concession speech, Dr. Krugu emphasized the importance of moving forward, saying, “We fought as hard as we could, and though we fell short, our failure was mine, not yours.” He encouraged his team to look toward the future positively, proud of their contributions to addressing the constituency’s basic needs.
