APPLICATION FOR 2020 PROMOTION TO THE GRADES OF
DEPUTY DIRECTOR
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR I
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Il
AND
PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDENT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified serving Officers/Teachers for consideration for promotion to the grade of:
a) Deputy Director
b) Assistant Director I
c) Assistant Director Il
d) Principal Superintendent
QUALIFICATION
a) Deputy Director:
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director I on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for the periods of approved leave of absence).
b) Assistant Director l:
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director Il on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for the periods of approved leave of absence).
c) Assistant Director Il:
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Principal Superintendent on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for the periods of approved leave of absence).
d) Principal Superintendent:
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Senior Superintendent I on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date (except for the periods of approved leave of absence).
Officers/Teachers with Master’s Degree and PHD For the avoidance of doubt, applicants who wish to rely on Masters/ Doctorate degrees to join the promotion exercise should note the following:
a) Masters /PhD programme should be on the approved GES course of study.
b) The Masters/PhD certificate should not have been obtained before the previous promotion.
c) Applicants should have obtained their certificate on or before 2017 but not before your last promotion.

Each applicant should complete the APPLICATION FORM on line, and upload a passport size photograph as well.
ll. An applicant’s form must be supported by all Previous Promotion Letters and Certificates.
Ill. The completed application form should be uploaded on the website BY 23RD NOVEMBER, 2020.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reopened its promotion portal for teachers who are due for promotion to apply. This is an annual routine and this year is no different.

The current application status requires you to fill online GES promotion forms then print copies and send to a designated GES district office. To fill the forms online, you will need a promotion eVoucher to be able to do so.

HOW TO BUY GES PROMOTIONS eVoucher

1.Log on to the GES promotion portal by clicking HERE
2.Click on the” Click to buy eVoucher card” button.

3.There will be three options for you to choose the type of voucher to buy, Choose the “e-voucher for promotions” option.

4. SELECT a mobile money (MoMo) network,

5.Enter your mobile money number and also provide a valid email address to make the payment.

6.A meaningful amount of 5 Cedis will be deducted from your MoMo wallet.

7.You will receive a notification on your phone prompting you to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to confirm payment

8.A confirmation email containing the eVoucher code and transaction ID would be sent to your email and SMS after successful confirmation.

9.Successfully, you have bought the promotions e-voucher.
