Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been arrested by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command. Apexnewsgh reports
The arrest comes after a tragic accident in which Lil Win’s vehicle struck and killed a three-year-old boy, sparking public outcry and demands for justice from the deceased’s family.
Lil Win’s arrest was delayed due to his hospitalization at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital following the accident. The police kept a vehicle stationed at the hospital, ensuring his immediate custody upon discharge. He has been taken to the Manhyia Divisional Police Command for further investigation.
The incident has sparked controversy on social media, with critics linking the accident to Lil Win’s recent statement in a media interview, where he said his new movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’, was “good enough to kill.”
While the investigation continues, the public is calling for justice for the deceased’s family.
