The leader and flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is scheduled to convene with the party’s National Executive Committee today to submit his nomination for Running Mate in line with the NDC constitution.
In a statement released by his special aide, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Mr Mahama will present his chosen nominee to the Council of Elders during this morning’s meeting.
The NDC’s constitution mandates the presidential candidate to nominate a running mate in collaboration with the National Executive Committee and the National Council of Elders.
The statement underscored Mr Mahama and the NDC’s commitment to forming a strong team that will work diligently to promote the interests of the Ghanaian populace and steer the country towards recovery and a prosperous future.
Expressing confidence in his chosen nominee, Mr Mahama believes the individual embodies the core values and vision of the NDC, contributing significantly to a successful electoral campaign.
