Malema Secures Third Term as EFF Leader

In the lead-up to Ghana’s general elections on December 7, tensions ran high as John Dramani Mahama’s Campaign Manager, Joshua Alabi, voiced serious allegations against the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh reports

In a revealing interview with TV3 Ghana, Alabi accused the NPP of prioritizing electoral manipulation over substantive policies and programs that could genuinely benefit Ghanaians.

Alabi sharply criticized the NPP’s approach, claiming that they focused more on strategies to influence the election’s outcome than on engaging with the voters. He contrasted this with the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) campaign tactics, which he described as rooted in direct voter interaction and credibility.

“The strong grassroots support we’ve seen is a testament to our clear messaging and visibility throughout the campaign,” Alabi stated confidently. He emphasized that the NDC’s commitment to addressing the electorate’s concerns resonated deeply with the public, reinforcing the party’s stance on the integrity of the electoral process.

According to Alabi, the NDC’s strategy was not only about campaigning but also about establishing a bond with voters through genuine engagement. “Your performance will truly define your success,” he remarked, praising the effectiveness of the NDC’s campaign. “We campaigned fervently, our messages were strong, and our presence was felt across the country.”

Reflecting on the sentiments of the electorate, Alabi noted that many voters reached out, expressing their support for the NDC while also urging them to protect the integrity of the votes. “They begged us for assurance, and we pledged to safeguard the ballots,” he concluded, conveying the party’s dedication to ensuring a fair electoral process amidst the challenges posed by their opponents.
