The incumbent Member of Parliament for the Nabdam Constituency Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane has extended his sincere gratitude to the people of Nabdam Constituency for re-electing him at the just-ended party primaries as their parliamentary candidate to represent them in the 2024 general election.
He said, “We had an unconventional method of campaigning making the primaries in Nabdam very noisy. However, lessons have been learned and the delegates have spoken”.
Dr. Nawaane emerged victorious securing 303 votes ahead of his main contender Lawyer Lamtiig Apanga who secured 177 votes and Mr. Francis Sampana also managing with only one vote for himself.
Meanwhile, expressing gratitude, Dr. Nawaane: “I use this opportunity to thank my 30-man campaign team, volunteers for Dr. Nawaane, and all meaningful Ghanaians who contributed in diverse ways to the victory. I wish to acknowledge my family members and others who contributed financially towards the campaign. And to my wife, Patience who sponsored the food and drinks prepared for the delegates; I say Ayekoo” Dr. expressed
Also appreciating his contenders, Dr. Nawaane said the chess game is over, stressing that NDC is ready for the election 2024.
However, speaking at his victory speech sighted by Apexnewsgh.com, Dr. Nawaane also extended his call for the party to start the reconciliation process immediately.

I wish to express my sincere thanks to the good people of Nabdams who through their delegates have expressed their confidence in me to lead the NDC to the 2024 elections. We had an unconventional method of campaigning making the primaries in Nabdam very noisy.
