Samson Samari, the Upper East Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and aide to the Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apak, has responded fiercely to a post by Daniel Kwame Gariba, the NPP District Chief Executive (DCE) for Builsa South.
Gariba’s post, which was quickly deleted, claimed that Dr. Apak’s project handing-over was fake, prompting Samari to label the DCE as “ignorant” and “myopic-minded.” Samari argued that no contractor would take the NDC chairman to a project site without the MP’s knowledge, implying that Gariba’s post was misinformed and malicious.
Samari’s response on Facebook read: “Daniel Kwame Gariba quickly deleted this post when his attention was drawn to how stupid and ignorant he was by his post. He deleted it immediately… If not an ignoramus and a myopic-minded person, no right-thinking person will write this.”
The exchange highlights the ongoing political tensions between the NDC and NPP in the Builsa South constituency, with each side accusing the other of misinformation and desperation.
