Former Upper East Regional Minister Limuna Mohammed Muniru has said, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) slogan of breaking the 8 simply means destroying or either breaking to steal.

According to the former Minister, “Anybody who breaks into something is either destroying or you are breaking to go and steals. Which means they are telling us they want to steal again. Is just like saying you are going to break your wife’s heart and if you break your wife’s heart, what does that mean? So, Ghanaians open your eyes, breaking the 8 is not a popular vote but they want to do what they are used to doing”.

“Let’s look at those who can deliver, let’s look at those who can bring peace and security to this country,” He said

He believes Ghanaians have witnessed massive failures from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) which has already changed their choices of who will lead them from 2025.

“A lot has been seen, we don’t need to tell them. All we can say is that they help us not to allow this person break. They know Ghanaians have taken a decision and they know Ghanaians will never vote for them as they did in 2020”.
