Vice Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party Dr. Alhaji Mmahamudu Bawumia has reaffirmed that under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the East Mamprusi Municipal Capital – Gambaga will see a massive upliftment as he is committed to ensuring that more people, especially people from Gambaga will have the opportunity to work in all sector of government businesses.
However, recounting the mishap of the Mahama led government, he said the only legacy Mahama gave the people of the North, was to allow all the guinea fowls fly to neighboring Burkina Faso under his watch through the SADA project.
Addressing Party faithful’s and sympathizers at the Gambaga station, he added, “… you can see already, the massive infrastructure at the Gambaga Girls Senior High, the road network, the water construction projects, NABCO, Forestry, etc.” Which he pointed out that more of such projects will come when the good people of the area give NPP another opportunity to continue.
He said the government of Akufo Addo has given a new region through the lobbying of the Local government minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the area Hajia Alima Mahama and also seeking for re-election and if we should make that possible, the will of the people will be fulfilled so for that matter, come December 7th he encouraged the people to come out and vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and Hajia Alima Mahama.
