A legal team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Rainer Akumperigya has extended a piece of advice to members of the opposition NDC in the region to declare what he titled 15 over 15 on their various social media platforms including Facebook.
The party legal team member who is also a Bongo resident gave the advice to members after the Health Walk organized by the Bolgatanga Constituency leadership on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Addressing the media, Lawyer Akumperigya said: “The unity which is being demonstrated on the ground by the youth of NDC at the Health walk, is a direct response to the problem Nana Akufo- administration has caused. And this has caused a lot of anger, it has caused despondency, it has caused uncertainty in otherwise a stabilized economy which they inherited”.
He believes the subject matter has been defined as to what will make one win an election in 2024. According to him, the Akufo-Addo administration the parameters, the boundaries, and the issues have been defined already. Democracy has no meaning if is not translated to the people and their well-being. So, am here to lend my support to the Bolga Central Constituency.
“In the Upper East, we won 14 of 15 in the 2020 election, which is a show of strength. For the Binduri seat that we missed, we are promising the people of Upper East and the people of Ghana that from today, every member who believes in the spirit of NDC should know that we taking all the 15 seats and that is the declaration we are making”.
He, however, advised members of the NDC in the region to keep their social media busy by declaring 15 over 15 for NDC the Upper East Region.
