The Police have addressed an incorrect report circulating in the media regarding the arrest of a BBC reporter and cameraman. In an official statement, the Police clarified that the report is false and should be disregarded.

According to the Police, during the dispersal of illegal demonstrators, a group of individuals was taken into custody and brought to the police station for screening. Two individuals identified themselves as journalists and were immediately released.

The Police emphasized their commitment to working with all parties involved in maintaining security, law, and order. They also urged all stakeholders to exercise caution in fulfilling their responsibilities, as their actions can impact the reputation and image of others involved.
