Here, the people are eagerly awaiting the upcoming elections, hoping for a brighter future filled with development and progress.

Their Member of Parliament, Sampson Tangombu Chiragia, a dedicated advocate for his constituents, has been tirelessly urging the people of Naaga to throw their support behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections. He passionately believes that aligning with the NDC will pave the way for much-needed development in Naaga and the entire constituency.

Emphasizing the historical ties between Naaga and the NDC, Chiragia pointed out that the community has long been a stronghold for the party, with its chief being a Cedar. He cautioned against turning away from the party due to opposition, stressing that electing John Dramani Mahama as president would necessitate a local representative to ensure that development projects reach Naaga. “John Mahama cannot bring development to Naaga from Accra; you need someone to follow up on your behalf, and that must be the MP,” he emphasized.

Mr. Chiragia also underscored the crucial importance of supporting the NDC parliamentary candidate, Simon Aworigo, on ballot number 2, alongside casting votes for John Dramani Mahama for president on ballot number 8. He warned that simply voting for the presidential candidate without also supporting the parliamentary candidate would not fully benefit the constituency.

The MP made these remarks during the “retail campaign” visit of the NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah in the Naaga and Kologo community all the Navrongo Central Constituency.
