Sarah Adwoa Safo begs for forgiveness– says a lot is happening in her life

Sarah Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament (MP) representing Dome-Kwabenya, has expressed her apologies to the leadership and members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for her recent behavior. Apexnewsgh.com reported

Despite numerous calls for her return to Parliament to contribute to the passing of important government bills, the MP remained absent for an extended period. As a result, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, established a committee to investigate the reasons behind her absence. However, Sarah Adwoa Safo declined to appear before the committee.

In a video shared on her Facebook page today, Thursday, September 14, 2023, Ms. Safo sincerely apologized to the Presidency and the party without any reservations.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my party, that is the New Patriotic Party, and the leadership, firstly the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his Vice-President, our mother the Chief of Staff Honourable Frema Osei Opare, Majority Leader and the entire leadership of parliament, my colleague MPs, Majority caucus,” she said.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to you all for my conduct in the past, it was not my intention to disrespect you.

“There was a lot happening in my life,”.

“Whatever it is, please forgive me.”
