Breaking News: Students of Bolga Technical Institute destroy properties, clash with police

According to information gathered, students of the Bolgatanga Technical Institute destroyed some school properties including some properties belonging to their teachers. According to sources, some angry final-year and second-year students started protesting against the seizure of their phones and the arrest of two of their colleagues by the National Investigations Bureau following their involvement in examination malpractice. However, in protest, students angrily blocked the main entrance of the school, and sadistically prevented access to the school and the main road that leads to Navrongo. A team of police officers who were dispatched to contain the situation was confronted by the students and had to run for their lives hence calling for reinforcement.
