Prince Kamal Gumah endorses Dr. Bawumia, and says his contribution to the party for the past 20 years is unmatched.

A leading member of the governing New Patriotic Party in the United State of America Prince Kamal Gumah has said, he gives all his support to Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia ahead of the party’s upcoming congress. Apexnewsgh.com report According to the former Youth Organizer’s aspirant, “It is true he has been around the Vice President ever since their election. “I am endorsing the Vice President”. He stressedPrince Gumah said, he is a guy that believes in reality and his support for the Vice President has nothing to do with where he is coming from or his religion. Making reference to a comment made by a certain former President who he claimed tag the NPP as a party that does not allow the minority in their own party, Prince Gumah said, …” the opportunity has come for we NPP to tell the entire world that we are open-minded people and we are ready to support anybody that is qualified and can be a President, as NPP we will support the person despite his or her background, religion, or anything and we are at that point. And I can tell you that NPP as a party, more than 80% of the party today think that it is time to kill that so-called Akan’s party once and for all. Not only that, more than 80% also believed that Dr. Bawumia is more than qualified. Giving brief history about Vice President, Prince Gumah revealed that, Dr. Bawumia was working for NPP since the Kufour era. “When you are talking about the HIPIC, when we came to power in 2000, Dr. Bawumia was part of the team that went to the USA Washington DC to negotiate so that over $400million dollars’ worth of debt will be canceled and they got that debt canceled and people don’t know. Aside, Dr. Bawumia helped introduced the redenomination and that was when Former President Kufour saw the brilliant in him and bring him as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. People always say, he only came in 2008, which is a lie”. He revealed He further revealed the role of the Vice President’s late father Mr. Bawumia who he said played his role well before handing over his position to Dombo due to his role as Secretary at Nayiri palace. “Dr. Bawumia’s father was an interim chairman of NPP in the 60s before Dombo came and why Dr. Bawumia’s stepped down as an interim chairman for Dombo, was because then Kwame Nkrumah put a law that, if you are a chief or a traditional ruler, you cannot do politics. And then Dr. Bawumia’s father was a Secretary at the Nayiri. So, the father decided to step aside and let Dombo come in as chairman”. “When the northern people were going to merge with the southerners, northern people went with almost 23 seats and Bussia came with only one seat. But as a northerner, we believed that he was qualified and his ideas were good for democracy and he was given the chance”. “As we speak, I have respect for all the aspirants, they are all party members and they have all suffered for the party but amongst all of them, nobody defend and worked for this party in the last 20 years than Dr. Bawumia”. He stressed “They are going to give him the nod. Dr. Bawumia is the only qualified person when you talk about sacrificing for the party, working for the party and everything, he stand tall and the grassroot are going to pay him base on that”. Prince Gumah made the pronouncement during an engagement on Apexnewsgh.com’s Facebook Live flagship programme with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen dubbed; “SPEAKOUT UPPER EAST” on Friday, December 16, 2022. The disappointment witnessed by President at Katanga Agenda 111 is a blessing to us—NPP Communication

The Navrongo constituency Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Moses Amoah has described President Akufo-Addo’s visit to the Agenda 111 in Katanga a community in Zaurungu of the Bolgatanga East District in the Upper East Region as a blessing. As part of President Akufo-Addo’s itinerary for his one-day tour to the Upper East Region on the 5th of August, he visits Katanga a community in the Bolgatanga East District just after commissioning the Tono water expansion project in Navrongo. But sadly, it appears President Akufo-Addo’s mood automatically changed immediately after he arrived at the site scene and saw what looks like foundation-level work already done by the contractor in charge and he angrily went back straight to RCC residence. However, reacting to the issue on Apexnewsgh.com’s SPEAKOUT UPPER EAST REGION programme, Mr. Amoah said: “I can tell you that President’s movement to Bolga East was a blessing to us”. According to him, “President saw the lackadaisical attitude the contractor was exhibiting at the site, he saw it very clearly. This one is not about someone telling President that this contractor is not doing this or that, the President saw it with his eyes. And you saw that when the President got there, he wasn’t happy, he was angry and that is a positive response. When you have a President getting to a venue and probably leaves with anger, it tells you the person’s expectation”. “The President expected that by the time he got there, the project should have been at a different level but unfortunately, that wasn’t where he met it and that is even a blessing. Now that the President saw the project at that level when he goes back, he will streamline things”. NPP Communicator maintained work at Pawlugu Multi-purpose dam is currently ongoing despite…

A member of the Upper East Regional Communication team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Moses Amoah has refuted the claim that the Pawlungu Multi-Purpose dam is currently halted. According to the information from some media outlets, CSOs, and some respected citizens in the region who have visited the site, they said workers at the site scene have packed all their materials out from the site. In fact, an NDC communicator during a programme described the state of the current site scene as a grazing yard, stressing that nothing is happening. However, responding to the claim that workers at the Pawlugu site can no longer be found, Mr. Amoah agrees with the fact that “there have been some delays in the project and all of us are not happy but the groundwork has started and the government is committed. He stressed According to him, “As we speak, work is currently ongoing at the Pwalungu Multi-Purpose dam, the relocation process is ongoing, and quantity surveyors are there probably looking at how they can pay compensation to people, they are looking at how they move a different community to another community. He claimed “We have to move it from the rhetoric, we are even better. The NDC came and diverted funds that were secured by Former President Kufour from the Brazilian government to Eastern Corridor road so we are even better. As we speak, there is an office located in Tema for the pawlungu Multi-purpose dam”. Meanwhile, on November 29th, 2019, the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency (H.E.) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, cut the sod for the construction of the Pwalugu Multi-Purpose Dam Project. The project, which is the single largest investment ever made in the Northern part of Ghana, and is estimated to cost US$993 million, would consist of a Hydro-Solar hybrid system of 60 MW Hydro Power and 50 MW Solar Power. The Multi-Purpose Dam, expected to be completed in four years, would control the perennial flooding in the Northern regions caused by heavy rains and the spillage from the Bagre Dam. President went to Akayet Hotel to dance off the disgrace he witnessed in the region–NDC Communicator

A member of the National Democratic Party (NDC) Communication team Isaac Ayemvoa Atambila has criticized the governing New Patriotic Party in the Upper East Region for not showing any meaningful project during the President’s recent visit on Friday, August 5, 2022. The Communicator sighted the Katanga Agenda 111 as an example. As part of President Akufo-Addo’s itinerary for his one-day tour to the Upper East Region, he was supposed to visit Katanga a community in the Bolgatanga East District just after commissioning the Tono water expansion project in Navrongo. But sadly, it appears President Akufo-Addo’s mood automatically changed immediately after he arrived at the site scene and saw what looks like foundation-level work already done by the contractor in charge. However, the already organized durbar to welcome the president was brought to a standstill and he immediately turned his car and left the scene. Meanwhile, the NDC Communication team Isaac Ayemvoa Atambila revealed, that after the afternoon drama at the site scene, the President went to Akayet Hotel to dance off the disappointment he met in the region during his visit. “The road minister Kwasi Amoako-Attah that day was his birthday and he celebrated it at Akayet Hotel and a lot NPP functionaries and the President were there dancing. The President was really there to dance of the shame”. The NDC Communicator stressed, insisting that the NPP has nothing to offer the people of Upper East. Source: Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana
