NDC spirit is down already in Kumawu—John Boadu

John Boadu, former general secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party, said he is optimistic the NPP will emerge victorious in the ongoing by-election at Kumawu. Mr. Boadu said, the NDC has been down spirited after coming to the realization that they have lost the elections battle already. He said the victory is surely going to be a one-touch victory for the NPP. “I know that even the NDC, they’re aware that this is a no-go area for them and you can see their spirit is down already and all that. So it’s not news at all. We only want to maximize our votes and bring back the Kumawu seat in our basket,” he stated. According to the former secretary, he stormed Kumawu to observe the electoral process in the various polling stations. Meanwhile, he also expressed hope that the election was going to remain peaceful and devoid of violence since Ghana was noted for such good records in our previous elections. Also speaking about the slow pace of the process, Mr. John Boadu disclosed that he was very optimistic that people were going to turn out in their numbers to cast votes. Voters in Kumawu will elect a replacement for their Member of Parliament, Philip Atta Basoah, who died on 27th March this year while still serving his 3rd consecutive term. NPP Delegates: Justin Frimpong Kodua buga out John Boadu in shock

The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), has defeated the heavyweight John Boadu, the General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh.com report In a national delegate’s conference of the NPP on Saturday, 16 July 2022, that traveled into the little hours of Sunday, 17 July, Justin Frimpong Kodua defeated Mr. Boadu and three others with a ‘Buga’ style, putting John Bodu and his supporters in a certain level of ‘fear the delegates state of mind’. Meanwhile, a few days ahead of the delegate’s congress, a video of almost all the 16 NPP Regional Chairmen led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman Wuntumi were sighted throwing their support to Mr. John Boadu. However, it appears the words of Mr. Kennedy Agyapong a very influential personality of the party were stronger than the support put together by almost all the regional party chairmen because a videotape sighted by this platform showed that Mr. Agyapong vowed to make sure John Boadu is defeated as national party secretary. Certified results from the Electoral Commission show that Justin Frimpong Kodua polled 2,837, whiles his closest contender, John Boadu, the incumbent, polled 2,524. NPP Delegate: Ntim, John Boadu, Salam, Nana B, Asobayire, Kate to be declared winners–Gabby predicts

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to holds its National Delegates Conference today to elect fresh executives to steer the party affairs for the next 4 years. Meanwhile, as that is about to happen, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko a leading member of the party has predicted those he thinks are likely to announce winners of in some key contested positions. In a post sighted on Mr. Otchere-Darko social media handle, he tipped Stephen Ayensu Ntim, who is contesting the chairmanship position for the 5th time, to beat his contenders and finally clinch victory. He also tipped the incumbent General Secretary of the party, John Boadu to beat competition from 4 others including former Tamale Mayor, Iddrisu Musah and Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Justin Frimpong Kodua to retain his position. For the National Organizer contest, Mr. Otchere-Darko is placing his bet on Henry Nana Boakye, who is the outgoing National Youth Organizer, to win. Rita Talata Asobayire and Kinston Akomeng Kissi, the NPP’s stalwart predicted, will emerge as First and Second Vice Chairpersons respectively. The incumbent National Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua, in his projection, will retain her position in the contest. For the National Youth Organizer race, Mr. Otchere-Darko tipped Salam Mustapha to beat his contenders; Abanga Fuseini Yakubu, Prince Kamal Gumah and Michael Osei Boateng, and emerge winner of that contest. These predictions he made, according to him, are based on “delegates’ sentiments”. “Those I tip to win the NPP contests Saturday, per delegates’ sentiments, are: Ntim for Chair; JB for GS; Nana B for Organiser; Kate for Women; Dr. China for Treasurer; Rita and Kissi for Vice Chairs; Salam for Youth. The NPP will, from toady, July 16 to tomorrow, July 17, hold its National Delegates Conference at the Accra Sports Stadium in the national capital to among others elect national executives. As many as 46 candidates are seeking the mandate of the party’s delegates to occupy 10 executive positions. The delegates from various parts of the country have arrived in Accra ahead of the event and will today make the crucial decision of who gets the nod to hold which position as the party is poised to win the 2024 general elections.

Musah Superior tagged current NPP party leadership as “incompetent”

Musah Superior gains gargantuan confidence ahead of National Party Elections, says he is confident of winning by 70 percent

‘Our party is in shambles, now we are struggling– Musah Superior confessed

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Metropolis and aspiring General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Iddrisu Musah Superior has said, “no presidential candidate can win the 2024 elections on the ticket of the party “if we don’t get the spirit of the NPP back”. Mr. Superior made the pronouncement during an interview on Class Morning Show on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, when he was sharing his view on the reason he wants to boot out John Boadu. According to Mr. Superior, members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are neglected and demotivated under John Boadu’s led administration. He said, “the spirit of the party is lost, it is gone very far and if we want this party to get to work and to win 2024 and win it well, then we have to find the spirit and the only way we can get the spirit is to find people who were not deliberately part of the team that made the spirit run away.” He believes, the best person to help get the NPP’s spirit back “must have the energy, the person must be innovative, the person must be young so that we can get our spirit back.” “If we don’t get the spirit of the NPP back, forget it, you can choose the smartest, the most intelligent, the most resourceful presidential candidate and you’ll lose the election because presidential candidates don’t win an election, it is the political party that wins an election,” he cautioned. “Our party is in shambles, now we are struggling,” adding “if you go round the country, you’re going to see party people demotivated, our offices are dysfunctional and we need to make sure that we get these people back, so we have to go out, at the base of the party, and re-recruit, we have to speak to people to come and join the work again.” However, He believes this must be done because “if we’re not in a position to put ourselves together, how can we send a message to the rest of Ghanaians to vote for us? So, the most important thing is to get the spirit of the party back and the way to get it back is to excite the party and tell the party that whatever your challenges are, whatever your complains are, you need to come back… According to the Deputy CEO, if voted in as the next General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Superior said every person joins a party for their self-development and so, he would create a business development unit to support members of the party and those who were currently neglected as NPP members. NDC will never scrap E- Levy when they returns to power after 60 years–John Boadu

John Boadu, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is confident that the Electronic Transactions Levy is going to be a done deal. He said just like the Communications Service Tax, popularly known as Talk Tax, innovative ways will be found in making deductions for the e-levy without unduly disadvantaging Ghanaians.
