NPP Delegates: Justin Frimpong Kodua buga out John Boadu in shock

The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), has defeated the heavyweight John Boadu, the General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh.com report In a national delegate’s conference of the NPP on Saturday, 16 July 2022, that traveled into the little hours of Sunday, 17 July, Justin Frimpong Kodua defeated Mr. Boadu and three others with a ‘Buga’ style, putting John Bodu and his supporters in a certain level of ‘fear the delegates state of mind’. Meanwhile, a few days ahead of the delegate’s congress, a video of almost all the 16 NPP Regional Chairmen led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman Wuntumi were sighted throwing their support to Mr. John Boadu. However, it appears the words of Mr. Kennedy Agyapong a very influential personality of the party were stronger than the support put together by almost all the regional party chairmen because a videotape sighted by this platform showed that Mr. Agyapong vowed to make sure John Boadu is defeated as national party secretary. Certified results from the Electoral Commission show that Justin Frimpong Kodua polled 2,837, whiles his closest contender, John Boadu, the incumbent, polled 2,524. The others polled the following: Idrissu Musah – 104 Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman-Prempeh – 8 Frederick Opare Ansah – 50 Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/

Breaking the 8 slogans is a very uncomfortable noise—NPP Gen. Secretary hopeful laments

According to the aspiring National General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Iddrisu Musah (Musah Superior), the slogan breaking the 8 adopted by the party as an agenda ahead of the 2024 election has become an uncomfortable noise in the airs of Ghanaians and the party and he would prefer the party to discontinue the noise and get back to work. Apexnewsgh.com report He told Apexnewsgh.com that, what the party needs now is to motivate the grounds, energize the base and get serious. “We need to stop the noise, there is so much noise in the system. We are breaking the 8, we are breaking the 8, it is a very uncomfortable noise and I want us to discontinue the noise and then get back to work. We’ve got to back, to pay the party, motivate the ground, energize the base and then get serious”.  Mr. Superior further said: “I feel sad and sick and I want to cry, because this party was built on certain clear values liberty, diversity, democracy, transparency honesty, and truth. And we have to be honest with our party. Are we keeping those values? If you allowed somebody to buy your votes. If someone gives you Ghc 5,000,00 and you vote for the person and really don’t think that this person is going to do a good job, what are you to the party? You are becoming a danger to the party. So, people should just disregard this, is not going to help you. Is it a deliberate attempt by those buying the vote to try and cease this party and make you useless and weak, so that, next time they can come back and buy your vote? In the last five years, the current executive officers of the party have abandoned this party and have abandoned our constituency executives. They don’t come here, they don’t come to the constituencies, all over the country, they don’t talk to our party people, and they don’t even identify themselves with them”. “Today, we are having an election, and their assistant and their agents are regularly calling these people they rejected and abandoned several years ago. So, what are you telling us? They think that we are unintelligent, they think we are stupid and they think they can come again and tell us stories”. He stressed However, the party is going to the polls on July 15-17, 2022, to elect their national party executives. Apexnewsgh.com report According to Mr. Superior, his party picture is very gloomy and people are not happy. “There is so much acrimony in the party all because there hasn’t been any plan by this party to support our party people. And I cannot understand that the party has delivered a government and the government is so detached from the party, not because of the inability of the President and his cabinet to work with the party but because the party leadership is so [incompetent] that they are not able to leverage on our government to be able to help the party” He stated He added: “There hasn’t been any conversation for the last five years, initiated by the leadership of our party to empower our party people and I think that this is completely wrong. I have said it on a number of radio stations and television and I haven’t received a response from anybody in the party to say Musah what you are saying is not true. I have been talking to party people even before I decided to become a General Secretary because I have been an NPP animal for a very long time and i talk about it all the time and the lamentation is huge. However, the party is going to the polls on July 15-17, 2022, to elect their national party executives. Speaking in an interview with Apexnewsgh.com Mr. Superior said, the reason why he believes he would have a strong win, is because of the response he is getting from his party people and his policy initiative. “In fact, first of all, the way we have to diagnose the problems of the party, the interventions we are going to implement to address those problems, and the future of the party. It is a very formulated and much-regulated campaign, so that, at every stage, we have something to say and that is why I have published my 10-point plan to address the huge challenges of the party. “No NPP person as we speak has a proper membership”‘–Musah Superior

The former Tamale Mayor and NPP National Secretary hopeful Musah Superior has revealed that the Regional and National Secretariat of the party cannot boast of data for its members across the country. He said: “No NPP person as we speak has a proper membership, everybody is out of date, that is shameful”. “So, we are going to introduce a technologically based…., In fact, it amazed me that the NDC is ahead of us”. “As we speak right now there is no data of the NPP around the country. Go to every constituency and ask them for a membership register? Zero. Where is the report you sent to Accra? Zero. Where are the party research reports for the past five years? Zero, where is the communication documentary? Zero. We cannot manage a party like that, we need a modern way of managing a party. ‘Our party is in shambles, now we are struggling– Musah Superior confessed

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Metropolis and aspiring General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Iddrisu Musah Superior has said, “no presidential candidate can win the 2024 elections on the ticket of the party “if we don’t get the spirit of the NPP back”. Mr. Superior made the pronouncement during an interview on Class Morning Show on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, when he was sharing his view on the reason he wants to boot out John Boadu. According to Mr. Superior, members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are neglected and demotivated under John Boadu’s led administration. He said, “the spirit of the party is lost, it is gone very far and if we want this party to get to work and to win 2024 and win it well, then we have to find the spirit and the only way we can get the spirit is to find people who were not deliberately part of the team that made the spirit run away.” He believes, the best person to help get the NPP’s spirit back “must have the energy, the person must be innovative, the person must be young so that we can get our spirit back.” “If we don’t get the spirit of the NPP back, forget it, you can choose the smartest, the most intelligent, the most resourceful presidential candidate and you’ll lose the election because presidential candidates don’t win an election, it is the political party that wins an election,” he cautioned. “Our party is in shambles, now we are struggling,” adding “if you go round the country, you’re going to see party people demotivated, our offices are dysfunctional and we need to make sure that we get these people back, so we have to go out, at the base of the party, and re-recruit, we have to speak to people to come and join the work again.” However, He believes this must be done because “if we’re not in a position to put ourselves together, how can we send a message to the rest of Ghanaians to vote for us? So, the most important thing is to get the spirit of the party back and the way to get it back is to excite the party and tell the party that whatever your challenges are, whatever your complains are, you need to come back… According to the Deputy CEO, if voted in as the next General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Superior said every person joins a party for their self-development and so, he would create a business development unit to support members of the party and those who were currently neglected as NPP members.
