I am still a member of the NDC and not even …

The former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC and President of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho has confirmed he is still a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). Apexnewsgh.com report In a letter to Mr. Anyidoho sighted by Citi News, the NDC said it found Mr. Ayindoho guilty of “misconduct and anti-party behaviour.” “The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) acting in compliance of article 48 (1) of the NDC Constitution unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the Party,” the letter added. Mr. Anyidoho had been serving a suspension that begun on February 8, 2021, after his consistent criticism of the party Some NDC members had been complaining about Mr. Anyidoho’s conduct and called for him to be expelled. For instance, the Bono Regional Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eric Adjei, wrote to the party’s National Executive Committee asking for his expulsion. He had cited some tweets and news reports which showcased the former party executive’s critical stance towards the NDC. The NDC said Mr. Anyidoho cannot be “recognized as a member of the party and cannot carry [himself] as such.”  Meanwhile, according to Mr. Anyidoho, he is an active member in good standing as far as National Democratic Congress is concerned and nobody, not even Asiedu Nketia can Unilaterally say he has sacked him from the NDC. The former Deputy Secretary said, he has his new registered membership card and he also paid his dues. “I am still a full member of the National Democratic Congress, in the new registration, I have registered in my constituency in Kanigbe in the Ho Central constituency in the Volta Region. In my branch, I have my membership card, I paid my dues. Nobody, I repeat nobody certainly not even Asiedu Nketia can Unilaterally say he has sacked Koku Anyidoho from the NDC. It is wishful thinking of the National Democratic Congress”. He spoke at A1radio monitored by Apexnewsgh.com on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Koku Anyidoho threaten Asiedu Nketiah with a letter

Former deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho, has threatened to place an injunction on the party’s upcoming national executive elections slated for December 17. According to him, he will head to the law courts to trigger the injunction if his name is removed from the party’s voter’s register by its General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah. In a Twitter post on October 29, Anyidoho insisted that he was still an NDC member and that nobody has sacked him from the party founded by the late former President Jerry John Rawlings. “Just for the record; Nobody has sacked me from the NDC and so if Asiedu-Nketiah, perfidiously removes my name from the voting register, I will have no opinion but to place an injunction on the National Election. Aluta Continua,” he tweeted. Background Koku Anyidoho was in a letter dated July 27, 2021 expelled from the National Democratic Congress for anti-party behaviours. It followed complaints brought against him by some members of the party as well as further investigations and decisions taken by the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC. “At its meeting on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) considered the report and recommendations of the National Disciplinary Committee on the case of misconduct and anti-party behaviour brought against you (Koku Anyidoho), pursuant to article 48(1)(9)(a) of the NDC constitution,” part of the statement signed by Asiedu Nketiah read. “The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) acting in compliance of Article 48(1) of the NDC Constitution unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the party,” it said. “You are, therefore, by the decision of FEC expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter you are no more recognised as a member the party and cannot carry yourself as such,” it stated. But Koku Anyidoho on a number of occasions has shot down his dismissal from the party. “It was an individual who came out and said so,” he said in a February 17 interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio. —Dailynewsghana— For publication please kindly contact us @0256336062 or Email apexnewsgh@gmail.com

The former national Deputy Secretary of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Koku Anyidoho has said, former President John Dramani Mahama won the 2012 election based on late President John Evans Mills existing legacy. Apexnewsgh.com According to Mr. Anyidoho, at a time, Mr. Mahama has no merit to have won him an election in 2012 within 3 months. “When the man passed on, I serve you well, he won on the ticket of President Mills in 2012. He can never say anywhere that it took him 3 months to win the election. It was as a result of what President Mills did and he won. I served him well”. He said “John Mahama did not win the 2012 election on his own merit, he has no merit. That election was won because of what President Mills did in the three and half years and Mahama could not have done anything in three months. It was won on the legacy of John Evan Atta mills”. “John Dramani Mahama cannot continue to hide behind these people’-Anyidoho petition police

Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Atta-Mills Institute Samuel Koku Anyidoho says police has acknowledged receiving his petition to investigate the threat and allegation suggesting he had hand in the passing of his former boss John Evans Atta-Mills 10 years ago. Apexnewsgh.com When asked, whether he is afraid of his life, the reason he reported the issue for police to investigate? Mr. Anyidoho responded: “Is not about fear, to what extent can I be afraid? But when people just decide to abuse new media and try to call me names and then go pointedly that I am responsible for the death of John Evans Atta-Mills what else can I do?” He asked “You see, when the President passed on 10 years ago, we hear a lot of stories; I took him in the hospital in the boot of my car, he was sent to a female ward, he was sent to children’s ward and those ones you can let them pass. But, when somebody pointedly close at me, in the name of John Dramani Mahama and sadly, anytime these people go wayward, they do it in name of John Dramani Mahama and he has never come out to say, don’t do this in my name. Well, that’s it, I have gone to the police”. He stressed Mr. Anyidoho allegedly accused former President John Dramani Mahama of behind his accusers to call him names for nothing wrong done. Well, I can pardon him, if he says he doesn’t know about it. But consistently, nobody has done this in the name of Kwame Nkrumah”. He claimed “But if they continue to do it in your name and you don’t come out for goodness sake. What did I do wrong John Mahama? What have I done to you? John Mahama couldn’t build Asomdwee Park for over 4 years in power after Prez Mills death–Anyidoho

The former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has rained praises on Akufo-Addo and his government for accepting his plead to build Asomdwee Park for his late boss former President Evans Atta Mills. Says former President Mahama couldn’t do that after four and half years. According to Mr. Anyidoho, President Akufo-Addo did what former President John Mahama could not do for his boss after four half years in power as President. Speaking on TV3 monitored by Apexnewsgh.com, Mr. described former President Mahama as the most directly benefited person from the late former President Mill. “For me, I can’t continue to cry, I can’t continue to wipe hence my determination via Atta Mills institute to keep his legacy alive. The best thing we are doing, if there is any heritage that can keep President Mills alive, that heritage is the Asomdwee Park his final resting place. Atta Mills Institute had to go to President Akufo-Addo plead with him. Because for some reason, for the four and half years we were in power after his passed Asomdwee Park was not built and President Akufo-Addo graciously has agreed and Asomdwee Park is been built”. He pointed “The person who benefited the most directly from the Late Evan Atta Mills is His Excellency former President John Mahama”. “After the passing of his boss he becomes President for four and half years for some reason Asomdwee park was not built and for me, having worked with a President before, At any point in time, there is only one president in the republic, you can’t have two presidents. If one president didn’t do it, nothing stops me because of my vision to see the other president and plead with him to do it”. “And that is precisely what we have done and so we take humble pride in the fact that President Akufo-Addo is building the Asomdwee Park,” Mr. Anyidoho said Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your  adverts and credible news publications. Bury the egos, bring back Konadu – Koku Anyidoho to NDC

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho has said he supports the call to the leadership of the party to bring back former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, into the party. Daughter of the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings made a passionate appeal to the National executives of the NDC to bring back the wife of the late former President to the party. Dr Zanetor Rawlings made the appeal at the commemoration of the one year anniversary of the late former president at the party’s headquarters in Accra on Friday November 12. According to Zenetor, for the NDC to win the 2024 elections , her mother must rejoin the party. “We cannot do it alone. It would take all of us. You don’t have to have a title or be an executive. And I would like to use this occasion to also express my appreciation to the leadership of the NDC, to the rank and file, for the support and the show of love. And so, on behalf of my mother, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, my siblings and myself, we say Thank You. “I would like to use the opportunity to ask that as we remember the old man, thinking that he ll not pass what he did, let us recognize the fact that we don’t know when our last day would be, let’s make amends with those we have wronged. On this particular occasion, I’d say the thing that nobody wants to say: Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is an integral part of this party. Let us do what we have to do bring her back.” Nana Konadu broke away from the NDC to form her own party, the National Democratic Party, NDP which has so far contested two national elections. Commenting on this in a tweet, Mr Anyidoho said “I support 100% the very deep, passionate, and profound, call by Hon. Ezanetor Rawlings, for the NDC to make efforts to stretch a hand of peace in the direction Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings. Let egos be buried & Let the greater good of the NDC prevail. Let’s give it a try.” —3news Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Contact: 05555568093

Koku Anyidoho did not learn anything good under Mills – Nii Lante

Despite touting himself as a trainee of the late President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, who shaped his appreciation of certain things as a man of peace fondly known as ‘Asomdwehene’, former Director of Operations at the Presidency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, insists Samuel Koku Anyidoho learnt nothing. The Former Director of Communications under the late Prof. Mills’ administration, he contends, is a failure who did not learn anything good under the feet of the humble professor. “As far as the teachings of Prof Mills, the knowledge we acquired after working with somebody like Professor Mills, I can say without any hesitation that he didn’t learn anything,” the Ghanaian sports journalist now a politician and the current Member of Parliament (MP) for Odododiodio revealed. Mr Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC) was expelled by the party for being hostile to party rules and regulations. Speaking on Citi TV’s Face-to-Face, Mr Vanderpuye described Mr Anyidoho as nobody so far as he the (MP) is concerned. “That is how he projected himself and that is how you people perceived him but he was a nobody in government, he wasn’t powerful,” the MP told host, Umaru Sanda Amadu. “He (Anyidoho) was perceived to be powerful but he was a nobody, as Director of Communications, he did not preside over me, as Director of Operations, so he was not running the government,” Mr Vanderpuye added. —adomonline Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Anyidoho: Did Ablakwa consult constituents, Volta, Oti caucuses before resigning?

The CEO of the Atta Mills Institute, Mr Koku Anyidoho, has wondered whether North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa consulted his constituents and the various hierarchies of the party’s parliamentary caucus before directly addressing a letter to the Speaker announcing his resignation from the Appointments Committee. In the former Deputy General Secretary’s view, “It was not a frivolous thing to make the MP of North Tongu a member of the Appointments Committee, so, based on the same principles, the question you’d want to ask from a governance perspective is: did he consult his constituents? Did he consult the Volta and Oti caucuses? Did he also consult the leadership of Parliament before going directly to the Speaker?” Mr Anyidoho, who was suspended from the NDC in February 2021, expressed raised questions about Mr Ablakwa’s direct resort to the Speaker. “What happened to the same principles and the channels? So, constituency, what happened? The caucuses, what happened? Because you are talking about principles. So, what happened to those same principles governing your existence in the august house of parliament?” he asked. According to him, “If you were sent there to represent the caucus and you didn’t inform them for personal reasons, so, henceforth, are you going to be running on the adrenaline of personal reasons? To what extent can the regions or caucuses put you up again to represent them any other day?” In his view, Mr Ablakwa “will do all of us a great deal of good” if he makes the reasons for his resignation public, as far as his appeal to principles is concerned. In his resignation letter dated Tuesday, 30 March 2021, addressed to the Speaker, Mr Alban Kingsford Bagbin, Mr Ablakwa said he took the decision “after days of careful reflection and thoughtful considerations”. “I shall like to state that the reasons for this difficult decision is both personal and on principle,” Mr Ablakwa said in the letter. The former Deputy Education Minister noted that his resignation takes immediate effect. “Respectfully, do take note that my resignation is with immediate effect and, therefore, I shall not be available for the vetting of nominees for deputy ministerial positions,” the letter indicated. The work of the Appointments Committee has come under some scrutiny and attack from the grassroots and members of the main opposition National Democratic (NDC) following the passing of some ministerial nominees who the leadership of the party had expressly told the Minority caucus to reject. The supporters as well as some leaders of the NDC, notably Mr Sammy Gyamti, the National Communication Officer, hurled accusations at the NDC MPs and the leadership of the Minority caucus, alleging they had sold their conscience for parochial and selfish interests. The recent passing of Finance Minister-designate Ken Ofori-Atta generated similar sentiments within the NDC. The party’s leadership had to issue a statement urging calm ahead of Mr Ofori-Atta’s passing. Subsequently, the NDC’s General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, told Class91.3FM’s Kofi Oppong Asamoah on Tuesday, 30 March 2021 that it is in the interest of the party for Mr Ken Ofori-Atta to continue being the Finance Minister since his “mess” will enable the party to win the next elections. Mr Ofori-Atta, who served as Finance Minister in President Nana Akufo-Addo’s first term, was, by consensus, approved by Parliament, after his two-day vetting, to continue in the same portfolio in the President’s second term. Explaining why the NDC supported Mr Ofori-Atta’s approval, Mr Asiedu Nketiah, who was recently appointed to the Parliamentary Service Board, told the Class Morning Show that: “The party has taken this position because we think that the interest of the NDC will be better served if the President insists on Ofori-Atta becoming the next Finance Minister because, as far as we are concerned, he has messed up so badly that it will inure to the benefit of the NPP if they had a new face but once they have chosen to maintain him, he should be there, continue the mess, which will then pave the way for the NDC to come to power”. Asked if the NDC then supports the approval of Mr Ofori-Atta to continue serving as Finance Minister, Mr Asiedu Nketiah responded: “Yes” but added: “If we were in power, Ofori-Atta will never get near the Finance Ministry but the situation is that they are in power and the party in power defines the national interest according to their beliefs, so, if the mess he is creating constitutes national interest, in the view of the NPP, let him go and continue because we consider it to be a mess and we now have reason to believe that Ofori-Atta has lost face in the national finance community, he has lost face domestically; the workers of the country have a problem with him and all that”. “So, if a new Finance Minister were to be appointed, at least, he will have a reason to say that: ‘I’m a new person. Give me time to settle and so on before I come to deal with your issues’. He will have that breathing space. Unfortunately, Ofori-Atta will not have that breathing space”, he told Kofi Oppong Asamoah. In his view, Mr Ofori-Atta must be allowed to continue to face the consequences of the “mess” he created. “I’ve heard of policemen whose salaries were topped up during the elections and after the elections, deductions were made”. “So, the person who was responsible will still continue to be there and they will be asking him those difficult questions”. “So, we think that it is in our history that he should continue”, Mr Asiedu Nketiah stressed. Ahead of his approval, the party, per a statement signed by Mr Nketiah, urged calm among its grassroots supporters, since whatever position the Minority Caucus takes with regard to Mr Ofori-Atta’s nomination, has been discussed and agreed with the leadership of the NDC. The purpose of the letter, Mr Asiedu Nketiah explained, “is to indicate to our party’s rank and file that we have held
