We are poised to win a considerable number of seats in the region which includes Bolgatanga Central– NPP Reg Youth Org to Isaac Adongo

The Upper East Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Salahu- Deen Musah Al-Khomeini has sent a strong message to the Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Isaac Adongo, that the NPP in the Upper East Region is poised to win a considerable number of seats which includes Bolgatanga Central where he (Isaac Adongo) occupies as a lawmaker. The NPP Regional Youth Organizer descended on the Bolgatanga Member of Parliament (MP) Isaac Adongo following the MPs description of his colleague Member of Parliament for Binduri Constituency Abdulai Abanga during a TEIN programme Organized by the Regional Opposition youth wing at St. John Bosco College of Education on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Hon. Isaac Adongo, whiles addressing students and party men and women describes his colleague Member of Parliament for Binduri Hon. Abdulai Abanga as a strange person roaming in parliament. “My colleague members of Parliament from the Upper East (and I) are very grateful to you for the numbers you gave us. But you know we have seen some strange person roaming in Parliament and saying that he is from Upper East” However, his comment has been described as very condescending and disrespectful by the Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the governing NPP in the region. Mr. Musah Al-Khomeini posted this on his wall in response to Mr. Adongo’s pronouncement. “The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Hon. Isaac Adongo, describes his colleague Member of Parliament for Binduri Hon. Abdulai Abanga as a strange person roaming in parliament. This is very condescending and disrespectful, to say the least. In fact, this kind of uncouth and unguarded utterance is unbecoming of him. He should be rest assured, it’s his seat that we are coming after. The NPP in the Upper East Region is poised to win a considerable number of seats which includes Bolgatanga Central”. NDC is human blood and blood saves a life—Bolgatanga NTC TEIN President

Tertiary Education Institutions Network of NDC (TEIN) President of Bolgatanga Nursing Training College Huzeifa Mohammed has said revealed, that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party signifies human blood. Apexnewsgh.com report The TEIN President made the pronouncement on Saturday, November 5, 2022, during the induction of fresh students at Bolgatanga NTC into the TEIN fraternity. “The NDC is human blood because the colors of the NDC party is RED, WHITE, BLACK, and GREEN”. Addressing colleagues TEIN members, Mr. Huzeifa said: “If you convince someone to join the NDC party, it is the same as transfusion of blood to the person, and if you transfuse someone with blood it means that you are saving the person’s life, and our duties as health workers are to save lives. So, convincing someone to join NDC is part of our work”. He added, “If you campaign for NDC, you are saving a life. But, if you campaign for any party else you are doing politics. Remember, the duty of a health worker is to save lives and not to do politics”. He stated He further stressed that, when they came into this profession as nurses, they were told that the human blood is made up of three components, which are THE RED BLOOD CELLS, THE WHITE BLOOD CELLS, and THE BLOOD PLASMA, stressing he, Huzeifa Mohammed as a die-hard member of the NDC party have realized that the blood is rather made up of four components, that is THE RED BLOOD CELLS, THE WHITE BLOOD CELLS, THE BLACK BLOOD CELLS, and THE GREEN BLOOD CELLS. However, he pointed out that the purpose of the program is to empower TEIN executives to stand on their feet and work tirelessly towards the victory of the NDC party come 2024 elections and to officially welcome our first years into the TEIN fraternity The programme which was organized by the Regional Youth Wing of the party led by Abraham Azumah Lambon, the regional youth organizer also saw the presence of well notable personalities like Isaac Ayemvoa the Bolga Central Secretary, the incumbent Regional deputy women’s Organizer Grace Nkaw, former TEIN presidents, TEIN Executives and other notable party members present at the induction ceremony. Isaac Adongo took on the Press–Says if Mahama…..

The member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency Mr. Isacc Adongo has taken on the Press in the country for what he claimed the press is quiet and not reporting under the Akufo-Addo’s administration. Apexnewsgh.com report The Bolgatanga Central legislature took the media on at a TEIN program organized by the students of Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Mr. Adongo whiles addressing TEIN members decided to channel his dissatisfactory message to the Press. He said: “Am happy the press is here. If the NDC was in power and for 3years we did not provide our children with textbooks, you would have been all over the rooftop shouting”. “If the NDC was in power and we said One Village One Dam and we ended up digging potholes as dams, you would have been shouting. If the NDC was in power and say FSHS and our children are running a traffic light, you would have been complaining”. “If the NDC was in power and our children could not eat food in schools and they were eating water for soup as school feeding Programme, you would have been shouting. If the NDC was in power, and say the year of roads and we came and commission a traffic light in the intercession of the hospital road, you would have complained”. “If the NDC was in power, and John Dramani Mahama had abandoned the national carrier and used a private jet, you would have complained. If the NDC was in power, and we have gone to the IMF not just to seek support but to restructure our debt and collapse the financial system, you would have complained. If the NDC was in power, and the dollar was now been sold at Ghc11.00, you would have called John Mahama the most incompetent”. “If the NDC was in power and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had gone into hiding, you would have been calling him to take the front seat and insult John Dramani Mahama. Today, where is the press? Today, where is the wisdom that you had? “If the NDC was in power, and your president were hiring a private jet to the Caribbean where they hide money and corruption was eating our country, you would have said John Mahama is laundering money in the Caribbeans but you have a country leading with corruption where you are losing almost Ghc 10billion a year and you are not worried that your president chattered a flight to the Caribbeans”. “I am not saying he launders money there but is a possibility because nobody sits in that private jet. If John Mahama was in power you would have known that people steal Ghc 10billion a year they cannot put them in a room, they must convert them into a dollar and the dollar will collapse the Cedis”. “Corruption is the biggest problem of the cedi, not export. Because the government officials who are stealing our money are competing with the economy to buy the dollar for safe keeping and that is where we are”. “Ladies and gentlemen, we have our destinies in our own hands, and if there is anybody that on any day will wake me up to testify as the one to lead Ghana to the promised land it is none other than his Excellency John Dramani Mahama”. NPP respond to Casper Sunday Kampoli described his comment against Nana-Buwumia as “reckless and irresponsible”

The Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has registered high level of displeasure with the comment made by Casper Sunday Kampoli, the Deputy Upper East Regional Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). The statement says: “The attention of the Regional Communications outfit of the NPP in the Upper East Region has been drawn to a news item published by APEX News, an online news portal that cited the NDC Upper East Deputy Communications officer (Sunday Casper Kampoli) calling on student nurses to make sure the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government looked bad in the eyes of the patients they will be caring for in the various units of the Hospital, CHPS Compounds, Health Facilities, etc and that is the only way the NDC can win power in the 2024 elections. “This call from Sunday Casper is an admission of the fact that, the NDC has lost the infrastructure and economic development debate in the Region and what is left of them is to do heartless propaganda with innocent patients seeking medical care at various health facilities”. Kindly read full statementFor Immediate Release RE-‘Look for anything to make Akufo Addo-Bawumia’s Government look bad in the eyes of your patients’ -Sunday Casper Kampoli The attention of the Regional Communications outfit of the NPP in the Upper East Region has been drawn to a news item published by APEX News, an online news portal that cited the NDC Upper East Deputy Communications officer (Sunday Casper Kampoli) calling on student nurses to make sure the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government looked bad in the eyes of the patients they will be caring for in the various units of the Hospital, CHPS Compounds, Health Facilities, etc and that is the only way the NDC can win power in the 2024 elections. He said this when he was addressing their new TEIN Members at the Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College on the 1st of October 2022. We condemn his reckless and irresponsible comments in no uncertain terms. This kind of “politicking” is destructive and retrogressive in our body politics. It is preposterous and iniquitous to admonish young, up-and-coming health professionals to do black propaganda about the health of the vulnerable who will be at the mercy of their care. This call from Sunday Casper is an admission of the fact that, the NDC has lost the infrastructure and economic development debate in the Region and what is left of them is to do heartless propaganda with innocent patients seeking medical care at various health facilities. The NDC as a political party that has always benefited massively from the people of the Upper East in terms of votes do not have anything worthwhile to show for the loyalty of the people towards them but can only resort to their dubious, malicious and mischievous propaganda communication to brainwash and hoodwink young nursing students to use the wards, theatres, etc as a political playground instead of professionally caring for the sick. Sunday Casper Kampoli and his ilk must come to terms with the fact that the auditorium he used to make that call was built by an NPP government under former President Kufuor. We can see the NDC running away from the debate of records with their tails between their wobbly legs.We in the NPP will not follow the NDC into the gutters but we shall make sure we bring them out of the gutters, clean, and beat them to the infrastructure debate from which they want to run away from. We would like to advise the NDC to abstain from their dirty propaganda and groom the young ones to grow into becoming responsible politicians in the future rather than resorting to politicizing every aspect of their lives. The NPP will always roll out policies that will inure to the benefit of the ordinary Ghanaian, the 1 constituency, 1 ambulance, the employment of drivers and paramedics to man those ambulances, the agenda 111 initiative which seven (7) Districts namely, Builsa South, Kassena Nankana West, Bolgatanga East, Nabdam, Binduri, Pusiga, and Garu are beneficiaries, the internet connectivity in the Regional Hospital and all District Hospitals to eliminate the folder system, the countless CHPS Compounds and Nurses Quarters that we have built across the Region and the famous drone technology to supply essential drugs and blood to unmotorable areas are all health-related policies by the Nana Addo-Bawumia Government. The integrity of the NPP Government is not sullied that the “NDC nurses” will find it easy to make things look bad in the eyes of their patients. We want to use this release to urge the students to disregard this ill advice from selfish politicians like Sunday Casper and concentrate on becoming health professionals that meet WHO standards. The Deputy Communications Officer as they say Ghanaians have short memory saddenly forgot that his Government led by the incompetent John Mahama canceled the allowance regime with the excuse that those funds were going to be used to expand infrastructure in health colleges. How many of such facilities did the NDC build in this region with those funds? It took the bold, decisive and courageous Nana Addo to restore the allowances of which your TEIN freshers will soon enjoy. It’s worthy of mention that just two weeks ago trainees received their allowances across the Country. We are however, not surprised that such an advise will come from a Deputy Communications Officer just like the leaked tape by their National Chairman seeking to wage a relentless war against the innocent EC Boss and some National officers of our party. We further advise Casper to be measured in his communication and not be carried away by making such populace and Nation wrecking statements just to usher in freshers into TEIN. The Directorate is very much aware of his desperation to remain relevant in a lame communication vehicle of the opposition NDC in the Region. He should have used the opportunity to proffer alternatives regarding policy in the Health sector. We urge the

Bolga: Midwifery students laments, says in 2022 there is nothing like allowance

Students at the Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College (BMTC) have lamented that the government of NPP has refused to honor its promises of paying their monthly allowance. The students also complained that for the year 2022, the allowance that they mostly relied on to help cater for themselves hasn’t been paid. This was revealed In Bolgatanga on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at a ceremony organized by the Regional Youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to welcome fresh students at Bolgatanga Midwifery Training College This account was given by students during freshers’ welcome to the NDC intellectual wing TEIN: “Since we came, the first allowance they gave us was 3 months allowance, followed by 2 months allowance. We are supposed to take 10 months out of 12 months and they gave us only 5 months. Recently, they came and gave us 3 months making it 8 months out of 12 months”. They said, from the beginning of 2022 till date, the allowance of 2022 hasn’t hit their Ezwich account. “In 2022, there is nothing like an allowance. So, is like the promise they made is not regular”. Source: Apexnewsgh.com|Bolga|Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com

Low involvement of women in politics hampering women’s development –Grace Nkaw

The Upper East Regional Deputy Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Madam Grace Nkaw has admonished fresh students of Bolgatanga Midwifery Training Collage (BNTC) Tertiary Education Institutions Network(TEIN) According to the Deputy Women’s organizer, “When it comes to a leadership position, decision-making in the country, we are very few, and that hampers the development of women and children generally in Ghana. We are vulnerable”. He stressed She said: “Issues about women and girls can not be highlighted by men, it must be highlighted by the women because they know more and there is a saying that, he who wears shoes knows where is paining him”. “So, when we are there as women in leadership, we will be able to identify those issues that affect women and see how together we could improve the lives of women. And these girls are young and we need to bring them up in that direction”. She emphasized “Of course, they are young, and sometimes they are intimidated. We need to encourage them, we need to motivate them because i know some of them are very good and they can do more even the boys but they haven’t been given the opportunity and of course, they cannot get the opportunity at a silver platter. “So, I want to encourage them to come out and do the competition with their colleague boys and I know a lot of them can make it and they must not disappoint us as young ladies”. She believes a good number of the students will do well if given the opportunity in the near future as Parliamentarians and appointees. They will start taking leadership roles in the schools, in the lecture hall, and even in TEIN and other roles and as they keep practicing they will grow with it and you would be surprised that you will have a good number of them in Parliament, a good number of them as appointee and Ghana will be better. Women are less corrupt and they cannot be corrupted and I didn’t mean 100% but the majority of women cannot be corrupted. Gbewaa College of Education freshers inducted into TEIN

TEIN Gbewaa College of Education in Pusiga held an induction of level 100s into TEIN on Saturday 16th July 2022. The event, created another opportunity to highlight the role of TEIN towards the overwhelming victory we yearn for as a party to save Ghanaians from this failed leadership of the Nana Addo-Bawumia government come 2024 and beyond.  The trainee teacher and professional teachers have had to suffer grave policies that have only worsened their professional and normal lives impeding quality education and well-being of both teachers and students. The levels of corruption in the educational sector are very alarming. A graduate teacher who is seeking recruitment pays between Ghc8,000 to Ghc10,000 to middlemen at the Ghana Education Service before the said teacher is posted to his/her chosen region and school. How do you expect a poor farmer from my village -Kpikpira after selling their cattle to take care of their children through school and also raise an additional Ghc10,000 to pay bribes before their wards are recruited? The same applies to the Security Services!!! Acknowledgment: We are grateful to Hon. Hajia Laadi Ayamba Ayi, MP for Pusiga Constituency, Hon. Lydia Akanvariba Adakudugu, MP for Tempane, Hon. Albert Akuka Alazuuga, MP for Garu Constituency, Dr. Thomas Anaba, Former CEO of Ridge Hospital, Mr. George Azungah, our Regional IT Director, Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba, our regional Chairman and Sunday Casper Kampoli, Deputy Regional Communication Officer. My heartfelt gratitude also goes to the leadership of the National Youth Wing led by George Opare Addo, and his deputies Ruth Seddoh and Edem Agbana. I also wish to acknowledge the presence of Mr.Joseph Apuakasi, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, David Amoliga, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, Castro Aflaba Ayine, Deputy Regional TEIN Coordinator, Rufai Mohammed Zubeiru, Regional Youth Secretary, Philip M.Yiranbon, Mr. Osman Ayariga, Mr.Mohammed Sadiq Gombilla, The entire Constituency executives of Pusiga, Garu, Tempane, Bawku and the Patrons and Students of Gbewaa College of Education.
