The elected NDC Parliamentary candidate Daniel Mahama Dung and the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Talensi Constituency Hon. B.T Baba has supported Muslims in the Talensi Constituency with assorted food items to mark the 2023 Eid Al adha annual festival.
The press statement issued by the Constituency Communication Officer of the party Michael Nangena says, “the two personalities donated food items made up of thirty bags of rice and fifteen cartons of cooking oil to the Muslim community in the area”.

The Hon. Daniel Mahama Dung, the NDC’S Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 Parliamentary election together with the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Talensi Constituency, the Hon. B. T. Baba has donated food items made up of thirty bags of rice and fifteen cartons of cooking oil to the Muslim community in the Constituency today, the 28th of June, 2023 as they mark this year’s Eid Al adha festival.
The donation from the two leaders is in line with the party’s established relationship with the Muslim community in the area which received an impetus from 2015 when the later got the mantle to represent the Talensi Constituency in the august house Parliament.
Since then, the party through the MP has always extended this gesture to our Muslim compatriots during such celebrations.
So today’s presentation which was made to all Muslims in the Constituency and constituents who live and work in the Bolgatanga abattoir was done in similar spirit which is to foster the friendly relationship and to seek for Allah’s blessings upon the people of the Talensi area.
The beneficiaries who were very happy for the support recounted the several donations they have enjoyed from the NDC and its sponsored M.P., the Hon. B. T. Baba since his ascension to the seat.
They were however, excited to have noted that his heir, Mr. Daniel Mahama Dung is ready to sustain the relationship. They thus, expressed their profound gratitude to both of them in particular and the NDC as a whole.
The Chairman, Hon. John Millim Nabwomya who received the items had them transmitted to the beneficiaries through the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Abeongo.
He was also assisted by the following Executives:
1. Isaac Yindan, Youth Organizer
2. Bismark Asugri Farouq, Deputy Organizer and
3. Albert Zuure, Deputy Communication Officer.
