Bolgatanga-Bongo road which was started with what construction engineers normally described as ‘reshaping’ by the NDC Mills-Mahama administration between 2009/2010 and later completed by Akufo-Addo-Bawumia New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration in 2019 has started deteriorating with dangerous potholes.
The road was constructed by Myturn Company Limited.
The current state of the road looks to us like a timing bomb gradually waiting to explode. Meanwhile, if nothing urgent is done by way of maintaining the road by authorities responsible it might cause serious harm to innocent road users. Sadly, these potholes were seen positioned in the middle of the tarred road.
The developing potholes were identified by Apexnewsgh.com during their visit to the Bongo district on Saturday, July 23, 2021.
