The Members of Parliament from the Kusasi Traditional Area of Bawku in the Upper East Region have expressed dissatisfaction with what they named as indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians in Bawku Municipality by the military.
They however, have called on the government to do a thorough investigation into the unfortunate killings.
Addressing the media, MP for Zebilla Mr. Cletus Avoka who happens to be the leader of the group said the killings by the soldiers were unnecessary, and a show of unprofessionalism.
The group said, the current measures put in place to resolve the conflict matter in Bawku have failed as he extended calls for more effective means to bring the matter to finality.
