In the Upper East Region, four (4) incumbent Members of Parliament have lost their seats for some new faces.

In the Chiana/ Paga constituency, the incumbent Mr. Thomas Addah Dalu lost the seat to a very developmental-oriented personality Alamzy Billa.

In Garu, the incumbent Albert Alaazuga Akuka lost to Dr. Winsum Anaba, the former Medical Director for the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, who was sacked by the NPP shortly after they assumed office.

The incumbent Member of Parliament for the Navrongo Central Constituency Sampson Tangombu Chiragia also lost his seat to Simon Aworigo Akibangethe man who returned from the United Kingdom as the NDC- UK Ireland Chapter secretary to claim a Parliamentary seat for himself and his party.

Meanwhile, in the Bongo Constituency, the incumbent Edward Bawa lost to an astute Lawyer Charles Bawadua. Lawyer Bawadua’s victory was much expected by many due to his kind of campaign against the incumbent.
