UER: Women left out in Bawku Central MCEship race as 18 men battle

Information reaching Apexnewsgh.com has it that 18 interested applicants have successfully submitted their applications for the position of Municipal Chief Executive in the Bawku Central of the Upper East Region.

Even though the current Bakwu Municipal Chief Executive is a woman, Apexnewsgh.com can confirm that, among all the 18 interested applicants battling for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) in Bawku Central, no female has shown interest to contest the position unlike some other Districts. However, the reasons behind such gender exclusion from the list of 18 is still unknow.
