Despite recent improvements in peaceful coexistence in Bawku, the Minister is seeking divine intervention to restore the area’s lost glory as a business hub.
In an interview with Alhaji Tanko Mohammed Rabiu, Alhaji Hafiz Bin Salih expressed his hope that his prayers would be accepted, and peace would be restored to Bawku and the Upper East Region.
He urged the people of the region to remain focused, emphasizing its potential to become one of Ghana’s super regions.
The Minister also prayed for a successful 2024 general election and expressed his support for Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia to become the next President of Ghana.
“I pray that Almighty Allah will bring peace to Bawku and the Upper East Region, and guide us through the election process. I also pray that He chooses leaders who will accept the will of the people, and I personally support Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamoud Bawumia for the presidency,” he said.
