VP Dr. Bawumia Meets with Ambassadors of Türkiye, Czech Republic, and High Commissioner of Kenya

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia held separate meetings with the Ambassadors of Türkiye and the Czech Republic, and the High Commissioner of Kenya, at the Jubilee House. Apexnewsgh reports

The meetings aimed to strengthen diplomatic relations and discuss bilateral interests.

Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of Ghana’s relationships with the three nations, expressing gratitude for the strong diplomatic and economic ties. He highlighted the potential for increased collaboration in areas like trade, investment, energy, construction, education, technology, and industrial development.

The discussions also focused on enhancing intra-African trade, leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and promoting economic integration in Africa. The diplomats praised Ghana’s development policies, including the Planting for Food and Jobs program, One District One Factory initiative, and investments in healthcare and education.

Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to fostering strong international partnerships and creating an enabling environment for sustainable development. The envoys reiterated their countries’ support for Ghana’s development agenda, pledging to deepen bilateral relations for mutual benefit.
