The Hugeness of The Numbers That Were Made Ministers and Deputies Affected MPs Delivery–Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu

The Majority Leader of Parliament Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu said the huge number of Ministers and Deputies in the Akufo Addo’s led government was a good reason they were voted out at their various constituencies during the December 7, election. According to Mr. Bonsu, some of these defeated parliamentarians were given some other responsibilities in parliament, making it difficult for them to visit their constituencies to enable them to address issues facing them. He is hoping that the president will have a relook of the situation moving forward. “Because the hugeness of the numbers that were made Ministers and Deputy Ministers, unfortunately, the flip side was that not too many avails themselves in parliament, tragically we have 19 deputy Ministers from parliament who were first-timers who lost, because of their role, they were not able to go their constituencies as often, as they were ought to be doing because of additional Ministerial responsibility. The president may have to interrogate himself. Because he wanted all hands to be on deck. In my view, some weaknesses were exposed.” He laments However, Mr. Bonsu raised further issues for the Scrapping of the party national delegate system used in the election of parliamentary candidates. He is of the view that every party member should be allowed to participate in choosing who represents them in parliament to avoid what was witnessed in recent times. “I have always insisted that we have to interrogate this, my firm belief is that we should expand the membership further downstream, and when it comes to making this determination of the parliamentary candidate, every card bearing member should be allowed to express his or her opinion on that. Indeed, I have been canvassing for this all these while unfortunately the NEC, the National Council hasn’t bought into it.” He stressed Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Just In: The MMDCEs who campaigned against the party to be thrown out of their positions– Osafo- Maafo

It has been established that some Municipal Chief Executives (MCE) and District Chief Executives (DCE) contributed to the abysmal performance witnessed within the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7, elections. The Chairman of the Fact-Finding Committee, Yaw Osafo-Maafo in an interview with joynews monitored by Apexnewsgh.com said some District Chief Executive (DCE) and some Municipal Chief Executive’s (MCEs) campaigned against some parliamentary candidates which had affected the NPP parliamentary fortune across various regions “So far we realized that there are a lot of internal fishers, there are a lot of District Chief Executives, Municipal Chief Executives were undermining parliamentary candidate, and they were even campaigning against them.” He revealed According to the Senior Minister, they have able to identify some of these government appointees but unfortunately was unable to disclose them and the specific numbers unless the investigation is completed. “They would definitely have to be thrown out, definitely, any DCE or MCE who considered it right to work against a parliamentary candidate has no business to represent the party in the district.” “You are dealing with the same party so if you are a District Chief Executive or Municipal Chief Executive and your campaign against your parliamentary candidate, you have no business to be a DCE or MCE for the party.” He said He stressed, even though the constitution of the NPP does not point any sanction individuals who may work against the party, the same will not apply to the issues at hand. We are about to expose the fraud that took place in December 7–Abraham Amaliba

A member of the NDC legal team Abraham Amaliba has revealed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is proceeding to court with the target of exposing the fraud that took place during the December 7, 2020, general elections. Mr. Amaliba who spoke to Ngamegbulm Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com in an exclusive interview said, the decision came as a result of the work which was concluded by the audit team put together by the party to check through the anomalies and malpractices and some violation of the country electoral laws in the December 7. “Well, you know our flag bearer has rejected the election result and after that, he put together an audit team made of Lawyers, statisticians, accountants to audit the pink sheet. That work is concluded and that work has resulted in the NDC through some anomalies, malpractices, and some violations of our electoral laws. So, the party then took a decision that they want to go to court and have resorted a legal team to do so.” He believes, the court is the only place to address issues such as election disagreement for the benefit of the doubt and in the radio station, trotro, or in a market place. The reason they will be going to court to present their case in a few days to come. “In the first place, we are going to court, to expose the fraud that took place during the 7th December elections. It is important we do that because, there are people who still doubt our claims that this election was stolen and the only place to do that is in the court not in the radio stations, not on trotros, and not on the market. That is why we are going to court. “However, Mr. Amaliba is confident that going to court, will give more confidence to the party followers who voted for NDC and as well give them the impression that the party has made efforts in fighting for their votes. “We think that if we go to court those who voted for us some of whom are not card bearing member of the NDC would be satisfied in their minds that the NDC have tried to protect their vote and so next when we are going for election, they will definitely come along with us. The rest we will leave it to the court to judge whether or not that will mean that the NPP Akufo Addo didn’t win the election. As for the court decision, we have no control over it, but we will go and present our case strongly to the court.” Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. People against my Christmas wish to Akufo-Addo are hypocrites – Anyidoho

Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and founder of the Atta Mills Institute Koku Anyidoho has expressed shock at people who raised issues with his Christmas message to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akfuo-Addo. Koku Anyidoho in a tweet wished the President of Ghana a Merry Christmas and also hoped for better days ahead. “I wish His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a merry Christmas and a happy new year. However, the President must know that Arsenal supporters like myself and Gabby shall never pray for Tottenham Hotspurs to win the EPL. Torfiakwa,” his tweet wishing the President a Merry Christmas read. But this did not sink with some elements in the NDC who questioned his loyalty to the party. Reacting to such stance taken by party folks, Koku Anyidoho advised that such people criticizing his wish to the President of Ghana to learn in politics because that’s the only way to better themselves and see meaning into the wish for the President. “I can’t believe that people can get worked up just because I wished President Akufo-Addo a merry Christmas: Actually, I don’t blame such small minds because they have not worked closely with a President before. I forgive such crass ignorant rants,” his tweet read. Adding that; “Whoever their mentor is; they should go back and see the number of times that mentor of theirs wined and dined with the “enemies” when he/she thought the world was at his/her feet. Hypocrites and parasites with no conscience”. My News Gh Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Contact: 0555568093.
