BREAKING NEWS: NPP Executive Shot In His Farm By Unknown Assailants -Sad Photos Drop

NPP Polling station executive, Daniel Abotsi Brempong, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Nkonya in the Biakoye District of the Oti Region on Monday evening According to Otixpres.com sources, the deceased informed relatives that he was going to the farm only for some persons to report to them that they had found his lifeless body in the bush, with suspected gunshot wounds in a pull of blood. Tempane DCE unhappy with sluggish nature of NIA in his district

According to the Tempane District Chief Executive (DCE), inadequate staffing, inadequate registration materials and no availability of a district NIA officer are affecting the SIM Registration exercise in Tempane He complained that another challenge the district is facing is as a result of not having a district registration officer. “We only have one registration officer, the one who manages the system, and another part-time person who is there to assist them. So basically, they are just three working in the district for NIA” “The way they are doing the work, I don’t know whether they don’t want the exercise to flow or what. Unlike when they started the exercise in a day, they could register as many as possible but now is not the case on the ground”. He laments However, he advised the National Identification Authority to make sure they provide sufficient registration materials to fasten the process. Just In: President Akufo-Addo expected in Upper East on 4th August

According to the Upper East Regional Communication Director for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Peter Ayinbisa, if nothing changed as planned, President Akufo-Addo will be in the region on August 4, 2022. He said President’s scheduled visit is a resumption of his regular regional tours to engage people and also have accurate information on happening on the ground. However, according to the Regional Communication Director, the President has scheduled to be in the region on the 4th of August and on the 5th of August, he is expected to commission a rice factory project in Fumbisi and after that, will be holding a mini durbar of chiefs and the people of Fumbisi and later proceed to Navrongo and also have a mini durbar with the chiefs and the people. The President’s coming to the region came when a lot of citizens questioned what the government has offered the people of the Upper East.
