UER: The best way to describe Nana Addo- Bawumia is narrow-minded and ineptitude– Abraham Lambon

The illustrious Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abraham Azumah Lambon has said, the best way to describe Nana Addo- Bawumia is narrow-minded and ineptitude because they don’t understand what they are doing. Apexnewsgh.com report According to Mr. Lambon, “If they understood what they are doing, Ghana will not be where it is today”.Meanwhile, making reference to the current predicament has affected innocent investors in the name of the haircut policy. “As a Ghanaian or a student, when you work and earn money, what you want to do is to invest or save your money. So that at the end of the year, the interest in the investment, you would use it for something. We have reached a point in our country where banks are no longer a safe place for saving our money when it comes to Nana Addo- Bawumia government. People who invested their money and earned monthly Ghc 5,000.00 as a return on their investment went to the bank at the end of the month and were told they are only to get Ghc 500.00 because the haircut policy has affected their investment. And yet, the President told us there wasn’t any haircut”. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has already assured that there will be “no haircuts” on investments contrary to speculations.“I also want to assure all Ghanaians that no individual or institutional investor, including pension funds, in Government treasury bills or instruments will lose their money, as a result of our ongoing IMF negotiations”. President Akufo-Addo assured “There will be no “haircuts”, so I urge all of you to ignore the false rumors, just as, in the banking sector clean-up, Government ensured that the 4.6 million depositors affected by the exercise did not lose their deposits”, President Akufo-Addo said in his Sunday night’s (October 30, 2022) address to the nation. However, addressing TEIN members at the Bolgatanga NTC on Saturday, Mr. Lambon assured them there is hope for Ghana. “The disgruntled youth let’s pray that the man of vision His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the commissioner general by 2024 will be the President. He is going to be a President for you and he is going to be a President for me. Because he is the one who understood the system of Ghana and governance”. He assured The programme which was organized by the Regional Youth Wing of the party led by Abraham Azumah Lambon, the regional youth organizer also saw the presence of well notable personalities like Isaac Ayemvoa the Bolga Central Secretary, the incumbent Regional deputy women’s Organizer Grace Nkaw, former TEIN presidents, TEIN Executives and other notable party members present at the induction ceremony. Former President John Dramani Mahama has warned that the ongoing public funding for the construction of the National Cathedral project ‘must stop’ especially at this critical time. Apexnewsgh.com report Mr. Mahama said Being a Christian himself, and deeply appreciative of the centrality of God in nation building, he agree with most Ghanaians who believe that the project cannot constitute a top priority of government at this moment. The former President posted his write up below on his Facebook wall on Sunday November 6, 2022 The public funding of the national cathedral, particularly at this time, must stop. Being a Christian myself, and deeply appreciative of the centrality of God in nation building, I agree with most Ghanaians who believe that the project cannot constitute a top priority of government at this moment, warranting further injection of scarce public funds. Because of the non-transparency of the processes and procurements associated with the project, I believe that the cathedral project should be subjected to a value for money audit in other to open the way for believers who wish to contribute to its construction to do so.
