15 out of those who were visiting Tamale for regular dialysis for the year 2022 died– Dr.Akatibo cries for support

Dr. Emmanuel Nsobila Akatibo, a Physician Specialist with the Upper East Regional hospital has initiated a serious campaign to get a dialysis center in the region. He said, “Aside the cost of the dialysis and medications which is expensive, these patients had to travel 2-to-3 times a week with a caregiver to Tamale for the dialysis, this puts an extra burden on their families because some just had to stop working in order to be able to travel almost every other day for dialysis”. Sadly, Dr. Akatibo revealed that 15 out of those who were visiting Tamale for regular dialysis for the year 2022 died because they couldn’t afford to travel almost every other day for dialysis. Read the full heartbreaking statement: THE UPPER EAST REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN BOLGATANGA NEEDS A DIALYSIS CENTER. Dr. Emmanuel Nsobila Akatibo writes: My name is Emmanuel Akatibo a Physician Specialist at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital. This is the story of the fate of patients who suffer from kidney failure needing renal replacement therapy in the form of haemodialysis in the region. Since I started working in the regional hospital in March 2022 as the only Physician Specialist – The department of Internal medicine has recorded over 30 kidney failure cases that needed dialysis either as a long-term renal replacement therapy or a short course of dialysis to allow time for the kidneys to recover. Unfortunately, this service is not available in the regional hospital which serves as the main referral centre for the whole of Upper East, parts of North East, Burkina Faso and Togo. Out of those who had end-stage kidney failure and needed long-term haemodialysis, only a few could afford to travel to Tamale the nearest centre for dialysis. This didn’t come easy for them at all, so some dropped along the way because they couldn’t keep up. Aside the cost of the dialysis and medications which is expensive, these patients had to travel 2-to-3 times a week with a caregiver to Tamale for the dialysis, this puts an extra burden on their families because some just had to stop working in order to be able to travel almost every other day for dialysis. Due to the inconveniences and extra financial burden on them, some couldn’t maintain it and died along the way, those who could have to reduce the recommended 3 times a week dialysis to either once a week or once every two weeks. This worsen most of them their condition and affected their quality of life. Others had to entirely relocate with their family to Tamale, Kumasi, and Accra in order to have easy access to dialysis centres. 15 out of those who were visiting Tamale for regular dialysis for the year 2022 died because they couldn’t afford to travel almost every other day for dialysis. For those who developed Acute kidney injury(AKI) which has the potential to reverse to normal and needed dialysis support for the kidneys to recover died because they couldn’t afford to travel to Tamale for such service. Most of these patients were young adults in their prime age, breadwinners of their families who probably just needed 2-to-4 dialysis sessions to recover from the AKI but we just had to watch on helpless. It’s on this background that the hospital started the awareness creation and sensitization of the public on kidney diseases for prevention, early detection and treatment to prevent progression and at the same time the campaign to help it set up a haemodialysis centre for the region. It is capital intensive and beyond the capacity of the hospital to fund it alone and would therefore need the support of individuals, corporate Ghana and all well-meaning sons and daughters of the region to contribute to this course in whichever form. It’s refreshing to know that almost all the Regions have dialysis centres with the exception of the Upper East and the newly created regions. We have our challenges as a region but I think this project will serve the interest of the entire region irrespective of where you belong to. I, therefore, call on you to join the campaign. Pull Down syndrome the cause of underdeveloped Upper East Region

The founder of the National Liberation Congress (NLC) Stephen Atubiga has revealed that Upper East Region is not developed because the people are good at pulling themselves down than helping one another. Mr. Atubiga made the pronouncement during an engagement on Apexnewsgh.com dubbed; SPEAKOUT UPPER EAST’ on Friday, January 13, 2023, a developmental programme introduced to look into issues that bother on development in the region. The underdevelopment in the region has become a headache to most patriotic citizens who want the Upper East as one of the oldest regions to be a better place. Things that are known to be common in some other regions in Ghana such as airports, sports stadiums, passport offices etc, cannot be seen in the Upper east region. Meanwhile, asking the NLC founder Mr. Atubiga his view on the worrying situation bedeviling the region’s development, he said:“Is unfortunate that we come from a region people are good at pulling each other down than helping others, a region where we don’t pick each other like the way the southerners do to their people. We are from a region, very poor and we are the best to stab each other in the back. We are from a region where, instead of supporting a neighbor, we support a neighbor because we think we want to have some benefit in a particular political party. We are from a region where we are very wicked to our own selves. The best thing we want to see is when our northern brother fails. We are not united, we have put that brotherly love aside, and everybody cares about their stomach”. He stressed He further added “Territorial interest is also what is killing us. If you look at the region, chieftaincy issues which has transcended down and if we are not careful, because of the intermarriages, Upper east will be left behind”. A young man has no future for anyone to look up to in our region because you are not his child. They have allowed our pocket to determine who to sit with. The central bank cannot fix the exchange rate—Bank of Ghana Governor

The Bank of Ghana Governor Dr. Ernest Addison has noted that the Central Bank he manages as a governor cannot fix the boring exchange rate. Dr. Addison made the revelation when appearing before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, he said the exchange rate, which is currently seen at GHS13 to a dollar, “reflects the movement on a day-to-day basis”. “If there is additional demand for cedis, the currency will be restricted”. “The central bank cannot fix the exchange rate”, he noted, adding: “It depends on what transactions have taken place”, such as “payments to contractors.” He noted “Typically, that kind of payment can move the exchange rate because some of them immediately convert into foreign exchange. So, the exchange, really, reflects a lot of day-to-day pressures in the economy.” The governor is so confident that the gold-for-oil programme will shore up the cedi’s strength. Italian Prime Minister describes Messina Denaro arrest as a ‘victory’

The Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has overwhelmingly described Messina Denaro arrest on Monday as “a great victory for the state that shows it never gives up in the face of the mafia”. Messina Denaro one the country’s most-wanted mafia bosses in Italy had been arrested. According to the report, the known mafia personality had been on the run for three decades. His arrest was achieved in a private hospital where he has gone for treatment in Sicilian capital Palermo.Prosecutors reveal notorious mafia man is a boss of Sicily’s Cosa Nostra mafia. The Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has overwhelmingly described Messina Denaro arrest on Monday as “a great victory for the state that shows it never gives up in the face of the mafia”. Police report says said in September 2022 that Messina Denaro was still able to issue commands relating to the way the mafia was run in the area around the western Sicilian city of Trapani, his regional stronghold, despite his long disappearance. Messina Denaro is from the small town of Castelvetrano near Trapani and is accused by prosecutors of being solely or jointly responsible for numerous other murders in the 1990s. According to the prosecutor, one of his notable activities was in 1993 when he helped to organize the kidnapping of a 12-year-old boy, Giuseppe Di Matteo, in an attempt to deter his dad from giving some evidence against the mafia. The boy was held in captivity for two years before he was strangled and his body dissolved in acid. The arrest Monday came 30 years and a day after January 15, 1993, the capture of convicted “boss of bosses” Salvatore “Toto” Riina, in a Palermo apartment after 23 years on the run. Tribal & religious bigotry engulf Kyerematen NPP flagbearer campaign

The camp of Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a serial contender for the flagbearer slot of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is gaining notoriety for churning out tribal and religious messages as means to annexing the presidential candidacy of the governing party. In the last few months, key members of the former Trade and Industry Minister’s camp, have spent time to either clarifying their statements or distancing themselves from comments deemed to be in bad taste or politically damaging to the fortunes of Mr Kyeremanten, who has been at his presidential ambition since 2007. The latest to spark yet another furore in the NPP is Alan team’s Eastern Regional Campaign Coordinator, Samuel Ayeh Paye, who is accused of sending messages to party members asking them to reject Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia at the upcoming NPP flagbearer contest because he is a Muslim. This comes nearly six months, after Hopeson Adorye, was heard at a Health Walk in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, on Saturday, August 13, 2022 dubbed Alan ‘Adru Woso’ Health Walk” declaring Northerners as second class citizens to Asantes in the NPP. To him, Northerners must always be running mates to a Presidential candidate, who must be an Akan. An NPP activist by name Wendy Akuffo, who was obviously incensed by a text message she received from Mr Ayeh Paye, onetime Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano, leaked it on social media, sparking angry reactions from NPP supporters who are aligned to the Bawumia camp. Screenshots of Mr Ayeh Paye’s message, had asked Ms Akuffo “where do you worship” to which she responded “I’m a Presbyterian. The ex-MP quickly retorted; And you want a Muslim to be president? Mr Kyeremanten’s Eastern Regional Campaign Coordinator, has since admitted texting Ms. Akuffo, and casting religious aspersions at Vice-President Bawumia. In a press statement he issued on Saturday, he admitted corresponding with Ms. Akuffo in which he “…also suggested to her that due to the higher Christian population in Ghana, NPP should present a Christian as a presidential candidate. He went on “I stated that NPP has a better chance of winning the 2024 election should we present a Christian as our candidate”, but added “I never said in any of my private conversations with her that we should not vote for Dr. Bawumia because he is a Muslim. He wrote saying “My attention has been drawn to some reports trending on both traditional and social media that, Samuel Ayeh-Paye is preaching religious lines against the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia regarding the upcoming internal elections of the ruling New Patriotic Party that he is a Muslim, and I have been calling some party members to votes against him. “To set the record straight, what happened was that, on Wednesday, 12th January 2023, I was having a private discussion with one lady called Wendy Akuffo, via WhatsApp. “In the discussion, I assessed to weigh a Muslim presidential candidate against an NDC Christian presidential candidate. “The conversation was only based on the assessment of the chances of a Muslim candidate against a Christian candidate. “This lady, who I suspect was on agenda to trap me, fetched the discussion twisted it, and wrote on her Facebook wall claiming, I said Dr Bawumia is a Muslim, so Christians should not vote for him. “To be on the record, I have a lot of respect for Muslims and also respect Christians and Muslims co-existing in this country and I will not do anything to endanger the relations between the two religious groups. “I will therefore want to take this opportunity to apologize to the entire Muslim community and all who have been hurt by this twisted story and also state clearly that I never said in any of the discussions that Dr Bawumia, is a Muslim and should not be voted for. But, Ms. Akuffo, has since responded to the ex-MP’s statement that she had an agenda to trap him, saying “Ayeh Paye has issued a disclaimer claiming I wanted to set an agenda, when he rather texted me first… I didn’t even know he’s supporting Alan.. “Anyways, if you never said we should not vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia because he’s a Muslim, why did you ask me why do I want a Muslim to be a president? “Why that question? Check comment section for his disclaimer, he just exposed himself… On his part, Hopeson Adorye, a former head of security at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) had engaged in tribal and religious politics when he publicly declared that the tradition of NPP is such that northerners do not lead the party. He said northerners are reserved for running mates position since 1992. This according to the party communicator, should continue. On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the NPP leadership wrote to the then Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Kyerematen over the health walk organized in his name as part of his moves to be elected as flagbearer of the party for the 2024 general elections. The party had stated that it has taken steps to ensure that the laid down rules and regulation outlined are not violated. However, the Alan supporters were found to have flouted the party’s directive on the ban of political activities related to upcoming presidential and parliamentary primaries. A statement issued by the General of the NPP, Justin Frimpong Kodua at the time said “Under the instruction of the steering committee Mr Alan Kyerematen has been written to in respect of the ‘Adru Woso’ Health walk that was organized in his name.” Following this, Mr Kyerematen, who is going into a fourth attempt at NPP flagbearer slot, broke his silence on a health walk organized for him by some sympathizers. In a statement dated Wednesday, August 17, Mr Kyerematen, condemned the comment of the Director of Operations of his Campaign Team, Hopeson Adorye, which were deemed as tribal and disrespectful to Northerners and Muslims in NPP. “I understand, with great concern, that the unintended consequences of these
Read Ablakwa’s shocking revelation about Nat’l Cathedral Secretary, Rev. Kusi Boateng

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Samuel Ablakwa has made shocking and mind-blowing revelation about the National Cathedral Secretary Prophet, Pastor and Rev. Kusi Boateng a self acclaimed man of God. Read the full revelation posted by the law maker on his Facebook wall on Monday January 16, 2022 Painstaking and diligent parliamentary oversight with the gracious guidance of the omniscient and omnipotent has led to what can only be akin to Tsar Bomba findings. Blatant corruption, conflict of interest, self-dealing and grand fraud have never been this majestic. It couldn’t have ever occurred to us that the conduct of an exalted man of God during the sacred construction of the Lord’s temple would leave an entire nation utterly dumbfounded. You will recall that in my earlier exposé of the scandalous GHS2.6million cash transfer from the National Cathedral Secretariat to JNS Talent Centre Limited, I pointed out that incorporation documents reveal that the three directors of JNS Talent Centre Limited are Johannes Eshun, Sheila Eshun and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. I also later revealed that Rev. Johannes Eshun is a branch pastor of National Cathedral Executive Council Member/Director, Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng’s Power Chapel Worldwide. Hitherto, the third director—Mr. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi has remained a mystery figure. I am now able to reveal the true identity of this mystery director of JNS, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. Definitely, the code has finally been cracked and it shocks to the marrow! Unimpeachable and incontrovertible evidence confirms that Mr. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi is the famous Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng who still serves on the National Cathedral Board as an Executive Council Member/Director. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no distinct Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi is a criminal creation of Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng. The two are therefore one and the same. Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi thought he had outwitted every Ghanaian, particularly our authorities whom he dribbled for many years; but the day of reckoning is finally here. From unassailable and irreproachable documents in my possession, Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi uses multiple passports and multiple identification cards with different names and different dates of birth as his special modus operandi. When JNS Talent Centre Limited was being incorporated, he submitted a passport with the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. The passport’s number is G0886001. At the time, he claimed his date of birth was 30th December, 1969. Instructively, the passport bears his unmistakable picture. (See passport in issue attached). Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng has used other Kwabena Adu Gyamfi passports. Their passport numbers are: G1262918; G0390695 and G3415693. (All duly attached). Curiously, on 25th November, 2021 the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration granted Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng a diplomatic passport. The diplomatic passport which expires on 24th November, 2026 rather carries the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and not Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng. There’s no indication it’s for the use of a reverend minister. Its diplomatic passport number is: DX006845. (Accordingly attached). The story gets even more fascinating. When the National Cathedral of Ghana was being incorporated on the 19th of July, 2019; Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng used his driving license for the registration. For his driving license, he uses the name Boateng Victor Kusi. In a more bizarre twist, he uses a different date of birth which is captured as: 07/09/1971. This date of birth makes him about two years younger than what’s contained in his numerous Kwabena Adu Gyamfi passports. (Driving License is duly attached). It’s been very puzzling to further discover that the acclaimed man of God and confidant of President Akufo-Addo illegally has two Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs)—P0002502682 and P000627241X. The Ghana Revenue Authority has made clear that each Ghanaian can only have one unique TIN and proceeds to prohibit individuals from having multiple TINs. Deeper investigations expose a host of companies which Rev. Kusi-Boateng operates as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi on the blind side of many. These businesses are: Y-CV Construction Ltd.; Qharis Consortium Ltd,; Kharis Football Academy FC Ltd.; El Dunamis Media Limited; Onpoint 1 Laundry Ltd.; Vibrant Generation Chapel Worldwide LBG; Dunamis Chapel Worldwide LBG; El-Dunamis Enterprise and Duna Media Foundation. Some of these entities are registered to engage in small scale mining. My latest tracking of Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi’s travels reveal that he used his diplomatic Kwabena Adu Gyamfi passport on the 12th of January, 2023 aboard flight KP021 from Accra to Lome. He used the same diplomatic passport to Dubai on December 9, 2022 aboard flight EK787. Earlier on 20th November, 2022 he used his ordinary passport on a similar Dubai trip. This shows that he is still actively using the two identities. It remains exceedingly baffling why he keeps two personalities— one as Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng and the other as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. Two personalities with different dates of birth; different passports; different TINs; different professions (Business Man and Prophet) and different addresses. What is he running from? Who is he hiding from? Does he suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder or Multiple Personality Disorder? Having established beyond any scintilla of doubt that Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng is Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/Ofori-Atta government and the Executive Council Members of the National Cathedral of Ghana owe the Ghanaian people some serious explanations. It would be extremely surprising if they claim they didn’t know this dark side of Kusi Boateng AKA Adu Gyamfi. These explosive findings make the conflict of interest charge in the GHS2.6million scandalous payment by the National Cathedral of Ghana to the shady JNS Talent Centre Limited even more blatant, direct, offensive and absolutely embarrassing. Clearly, Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi sat on the Cathedral board and literally paid his own company a staggering GHS2.6million for no work done. When the siphoning was completed, they captured same as “Contractors Mobilization” and presented it to Parliament hoping that they would legitimize the dubious transaction and therefore get away with murder. It has also emerged from a
