Just In: REGSEC imposes ban on motor bike riding in Bawku

The latest statement issued by the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council (REGSEC) after the unfortunate shooting incident in Bawku Municipality on Sunday January 23, 2022 says, no man or woman should ride motor bike in the Bawku Municipality until further notice. Apexnewsgh.com report

“The Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has examined the security situation and its volatile nature in the Bawku Township and with immediate effect imposes a ban on riding of motor bike in the Bawku Municipality and its environs”. The statement said.

It is also instructive to note that this ban does not include motor tricycles. The ban affects both sexes.

REGSEC requests that MUSEC enforces this directive with the urgency it deserves until further notice. The statement concluded.
