Ghanaians were surprised by recent images showing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong together.
The two politicians were seen at Kwabena Agyepong’s private residence in Kumasi, where they were celebrating the tenth anniversary of his mother’s passing. Mrs. Margaret Agyepong passed away on August 27, 2013.
The photos have sparked various interpretations, especially considering the recent resignation of NPP flagbearer aspirant John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten. Many political commentators have admired the interaction between the Vice President and his host.
