Popular satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa, also known as KSM, shared his thoughts on former President John Mahama’s proposal for a 24-hour economy in Ghana.
KSM expressed his support for the idea of a 24-hour economy, stating that it would be beneficial for the country to have a constantly moving economy. However, he emphasized that for this concept to be successful, Ghana’s economy must be in a strong and stable state.
KSM pointed out that the current state of Ghana’s economy is not conducive to a 24-hour economy. He advised Mr. Mahama to focus on stabilizing and improving the economy before moving forward with such a plan. He stressed the importance of stopping the current economic decline and addressing the issues at hand before considering any new initiatives.
The satirist urged Mr. Mahama to set the economy on a firm footing and halt the free fall it is currently experiencing. He emphasized that his words were not politically motivated, but rather a concern from a citizen who wants to see Ghana’s economy thrive.
However, KSM’s advice to former President John Mahama was clear – focus on stabilizing the economy before implementing any ambitious plans such as a 24-hour economy. By ensuring that the economic foundation is strong, Ghana can then move forward with initiatives that will benefit the country as a whole.
