He made this appeal while donating 800 books and 712 mathematical sets to the District Education Office for distribution to students in need.
Dr. Nawaane emphasized the importance of education, stating that it is crucial for achieving a higher level of success in life. He noted that even members of Parliament continue to educate themselves, and that a good education is essential for effective leadership.
The MP has been making annual donations to support students in the district since 2015, before he became a member of Parliament.
He expressed his commitment to supporting education in the district and urged students to take their studies seriously.
The District Education Director, Madam Wompakeah Mary-madalen, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Nawaane for his continuous support to students and education services in the district.
She encouraged other well-meaning individuals to emulate the MP’s example and support education in the district rather than criticizing teachers.
Dr. Nawaane also agreed to assist the district with a pickup truck for five days to facilitate the transportation of examination materials to centers for the upcoming final examinations. He wished the students success in their exams and encouraged them to strive for excellence.
